pump/motor mounting fabricator

Can someone recommend a fabricator/welder who can make a pump/motor mounting plate out of stainless steel? I have the dimensions and no holes need to be drilled. Can't be that hard!

You would think so....

you would think so......today I requested a quote on three 1/4 stainless sheets, 28 x 20, one quote was approximately $450.00 and the other was over $800.00. Is stainless really that high? Yikes!!!

Yes.

You don't need 1/4". 12 gauge should be sufficient, but it might need a piece of angle along the length on the underside to keep it from flexing.

I might have something that would work for you. I have four of them.
They had a five horsepower baldor mounted to them and a cat 310 pump.

If Timmb doesnt work out, you could Shop your local fabricators. Not that difficult, especially if you already have the item on hand that the shop can use it as reference. Just be aware, if you want it “tomorrow” you will pay for that speed. If you are flexible, then they can work it into a larger product, you can get a substantial discount for not needing it in a hurry.
