Hello, Are we supposed to change the filter in the blue cone thing? I do measure the ppm on a weekly basis and its consistently 10ppm. Do I need to bother?
I would be upset too.The filter was crushed.
The micron rating refers to the size of the "holes" in the filter and thereby the size of the sediment that will pass through. A micron is a unit of measure - one millionth of a meter. So the lower the micron rating, the smaller the sediment the filter will capture.oh I thought 10 micron is better than 5 micron..it seems to be the other way around.. I'm going to change this every 6 month (I promise, haha) so no need to stick to the old type one?
