They do it by starting with a very high price. I can get most items that Zoro has about a third cheaper if I shop around a little.

Some things are high ( Just like you would expect a Grainger subsidiary to be) , some things are priced competitively with amazon, lowes, and Home depot. When you add in the sales price and free shipping it's often a deal that you won't beat.

I agree cfcw. I get all my booster pumps, procon pumps, and have recently gotten a nice Campbell-Hausfield 5hp/80 gal air compressor way cheaper than anyone else; plus free shipping.

One other thing to note if there are no active discount codes: When I log on to zoro and put a few items in my cart but don't follow through with a purchase they almost always send me an email in a few hours for 15% off, good for a couple of days. If I allow it to expire, they will often send another for 10% off.

if you're looking for filler for you order to get to $50 try a few cans of this. It is d-limonene based (supposedly 75%) and seems to be a very good adhesive remover. It also seems to be safe to use on extrutech. I used it yesterday to clean up the top of a vacuum where the gasket adhesive was and it did a great job. I have used zep big orange (90% d-limonene)in the past. I love big orange but it is twice as expensive as this stuff. With discount this stuff is very reasonable.

Yep. Ya need it NOW go to your local Grainger. If you can wait a day (in my case) order from Zoro. Same item, same part number and same warehouse that ships to the local Grainger.

I guess they know what they are doing....competing against themselves!

right now the website be frugal gives 6% cashback when you click though them to make zoro purchases.
