Hi Waxman,so...... after all this discussion, mis-diagnosis, software update, and other parts changed, the problem was a simple mechanical issue.
I've learned, with lots of help, to look at the simplest things first.
Looking at this old thread, what actually happened was that this issue was absolutely related to another thread on this board.
And it was not parts or software related. The solutions was a separate, direct earth to the motors. It was not getting the full earth. That's why I had intermittent problems. Running a separate earth cable fixed the problem. One could now ask why that hasn't been done in the first place? My technician said in the past they had other issues with that. A tiny bit of moisture inside the motor would have shut down the operation.
