The most disgusting thing________________________________

The most disgusting and/or scariest thing I ever found at my car wash (in the vacuum canister, the garbage, inside the bay) is ___________________________________

Well just the other day I found human feces up there...probably from a vagrant...this is the second time in 5 years of owning the wash so not like an everyday thing.

Aside from that...the occasional dead family pet (dog or cat) and deer(guessing because it was hunting season) guts.

Deer guts, though I didn't find them, I had just pulled up and a cop pulled in behind me saying someone called about human entrails in one of the bays.

It always scares me to see the orange cap from hypodermic needles. It usually means there is also a needle somewhere on the property. Also, probably a pile of vomit from the person that used the needle...

Debra I don’t know where to start. I’ve customers wash out a trailer of pig $hit, motorhome sewage holding tanks dumped in the pits, human $hit and pee in front of and on the rear door, I’ve had hunters use the foam brush arm to hang a deer while they gut and skin it and be nice enough to leave the entails and hide. I think the worse was the guy who washed out his pickup truck bed that was full of rotten Elk blood, OMG!! Stink. It took days to get rid of that smell. I think most people see a self-serve car wash as a place to come and do whatever they feel like doing. When we are there and I call out someone they look at me with this stupid look on their face and say “It’s just a car wash” I want to smash my fist into their mouth when they say that.

All of the above for me. What I find particularly disgusting is other businesses like pet groomers, food trucks, carpet cleaning companies that come by and dump their waste products at the wash for nothing making me subsidize their business.

We've encountered much of the same items that Randy listed. What really took the cake though, was someone climbed onto our tractor and dropped a deuce on the hood.

Debra & others,

A few years ago I posted about a developer-contractor-real estate "hoopie dee do" young glamorized local entrepreneurs company where their concrete boys came in immediately after a tarring of a basement foundation job. The "stickiest imaginable tar not a little bit" in the tandem bay ... but all over the walls, the closed overhead polycarbonate doors, hoses, lighting on the walls, coin boxes ... foaming brushes. Close to 10 man hours (intense clean up) with several hours of bay shut down.

Randy's remark about the perps' reaction when confronted ... I could relate to ... them being totally oblivious to the gravity of the situation & even to some extent permanent damage. I finally, got one of the "about 30 year old bosses" to stop by because of a very much delayed call from the local city attorney's office (heavy steel bars in front of their office) upon my extensive showing of pictures & other 100% evidence. Unbelievable ... the bosses must have thought they was immune to any suggestions from me... that they did wrong ... because he still balked & insisted on the most minimal reimbursement with his nonchalant flippant "YOU WOULD HAVE HAD TO DO A CLEAN UP ANYWAY" His version of it ... as if it was anything close to a normal clean up job. Maybe the extremely calloused young owner thought he had much greater influence over the local media ... in case a reporter picked up on it? Who knows ... maybe a reporter buddy of his ... could have twisted the incident into making the car wash the bad guys??? Hopefully ... the local media would not have been that bad ... but sometimes you never know for sure.

My most disgusting was a vacuum full of maggots. We have also found some cremated remains. I have a friend that found a dildo...let's see if anyone can beat that one.

Off the top of my head...

Porno mags with the pages "stuck" together.
Dead house pets.
Dead prostitute.
I've seen more blow jobs than a man should ever see in his lifetime.
Along with the usual bottles of piss, needles and feces.

Even though it is extremely rare in our relatively small city ... there was a Jeffrey Dahmer (body parts separated) type of murder less than 10 years ago. The local PD eventually caught the two murderers. Not sure how much we helped ... but the tenacious (to his credit) detective had us review with him a very long time of camera footage by our dumpster that we were not locking at the time. Has any operator ever got reimbursed monetarily for an extreme loss of manhours assisting the local PD???

I have never been reimbursed by the police but my videos have solved several crimes for them.
