The semi's and 5'th wheels that use my truck bay are pretty good about not getting grease on the hoses. In 8 years, its only happened a few times. WD40 cleans the hoses up quickly.
I occasionally get customers that clean up after them selves. I even have some of them trained to wash the mud, grass, etc off to the side in the grass area and not in the pit.
Please explain how the cycle/switch would work "Truck Bay Clean Up"? On my meter box, that's the rinse cycle! I use a remote control to start the Led 7.
Don't get me wrong, I do understand others point of view on a truck bay. Mine is manageable. If it wasn't or was creating so much work I couldn't tolerate it, I would tear it out. That's why my comment about location is so important. My truck bay is a Great addition to my wash. Plus I live only a few blocks from the wash, makes it much easier for me to manage it on my own.
