Trying to order from Sonny's. What a run around.

So I found a part from Sonny's that I would like to order. I try to place the order and it wants me to register first which isn't the end of the world. I register and figure I am going to wait for an email and reply to it and be in the system. Nope its not that easy. I get an email telling me that a representative will be getting a hold of me to complete the process or I can call a phone number for quicker access. Unfortunately its Sunday afternoon and no one is going to call and the number doesn't work till Monday morning at 8 AM. I wait till Monday and call. I have to give the guy all the information I provided over the internet again. Its a lot harder to tell someone the info over the phone than me just type it in so I know everything is correct. Then the guy is determined I am going to give him my credit card number over my cell phone. After going back and forth on this a few times he agrees that I can enter my credit card info when I order. OK, I think I am ready to order. Not so fast... Now I have to sit and wait for him to send me an email with log in info. What a pain. I just want to order a part. I probably now have almost an hour total in trying to order a part that should have taken my 10 minutes. What a set up.

I solve problems like that by ordering parts elsewhere....

I had been faxing in orders and got a note back that they no longer want faxes. Perhaps they will still take phone orders. Simple with the CC on file.

And don't forget, these are the same wonderful people who MAKE you press 1 for English when you call in.

What that means is that we only sell to operators who are in the car wash business, therefor we have to actually verify your information over the phone before setting you up. You can certainly still fax your orders in, the reason we have asked people who fax to begin to email, or call in orders, is because faxes has proven to be unreliable. We have five different sets of eyes on email orders, and are able to process those quickly. With faxes I can't tell you how many times customers have called in to check on their order and we don't have it, because the fax didn't come through. It's a way for us to better serve you. Please continue to order however makes you most comfortable, but please understand faxing isn't a bullet proof option. So now if you could change your politically correct phone system so that those of us that are here legally and speak the native language (that would be English) don't have to press one to do so. That is the one main reason I have stopped using you.
