Does anyone have a water wizard with two step low pressure presoak? I am trying to figure out how its plumbed and if I can convert a machine to using a low pressure high alkaline presoak and low pressure low ph presoak.
This site is one of the newer setups already using the injectors. I am wondering why they didn’t use a 3 phase booster pump on these instead of the single phase. I have already replaced both the pumps on both u its and had to replace the capacitors on both motors as well. I am thinking about switching it out to a 3 phase and installing an overload on the motor starter. Any pros or cons that you are aware of in replacing the booster pump with a 3 phase version?Todd, I will add that even though the cat presoak booster pumps are awesome and work for years without issue, this is a good opportunity to buy and use a multi stage booster pump and injector for your second pass for almost the same amount of money. This would allow you to convert to injector-based system in the future without too much expense, if that sort of thing has an appeal to you.
I assume both functions use the same air solenoid?I have one. They run out separate lines to just above the drivers side of the gantry. At that point the two lines tee in and run to the presoak solenoid in the below pressure cabinet. It works but it takes about eight seconds to purge the previous product properly. You can account for this by having a start delay of ten seconds on the two presoak passes.
