Tru18 Vending Machine manual / instructions / wiring diagram

I bought a used TRU18 through the wall vending machine, everything is working except one of these connectors goes to the selection keypad and one goes to the control board. They are the only two lose connectors left, so I am guessing they should connect. But they don't. There maybe some missing...

RV - Truck bay addition to SS wash

To be fair, I probably would not do that either. But I'm naturally lazy and others might. It just kills me not to find a unique value add use for that area to help set the wash apart.

RV - Truck bay addition to SS wash

Stand alone dryer bay is an interesting thought! Does anyone have something like that they could share a pic of to give some inspiration?

RV - Truck bay addition to SS wash

I think the cement is about the only level part of that parking lot. But I had thought of building a curb like perimeter to contain the water. Cut out an area for a pit and trench the line over to the pit in the bay next to it for run off.

RV - Truck bay addition to SS wash

That is an interesting solution to the rain in the septic sewer system. Maybe install a large awning across the open bay. Just add extensions to the side of the car wash to raise it up high enough for large vehicles and then attach the awning to large posts on the other side of the cement that...

RV - Truck bay addition to SS wash

I've thought about a dog wash, but there are several in the area, so notnsure about how much value add it would be to the community. Hadn't thought of the rain issue. But doesn't rain enter all of the pits from run off of the entrance and exits? Maybe it's a volume issue?

RV - Truck bay addition to SS wash

I have an open side to my building that for some reason has a big cement slab that has been begging me to use it. (Pics) I've thought about removing the awning and adding a boom to the top of the building for an RV/Truck wash. There is no slope to the cement and of course no pit for drainage...

    No power at meter box

So, I found my issue. It appears the fuse box may have overheated or even flamed. (see pic) The fuse, from what I can tell is still good, just the plastic melted and the fuse lost connection to the contact. I need to get a couple of these boxes to replace the current bad ones, originally from...

    No power at meter box

Yes, there doesn't appear to be any voltage at the 'screws' that hold the wires. Unless there is somewhere else we need to touch to find the power. I bought a new transformer thinking that it had gone bad, but this one works in the other bays. I wasn't sure if there could be something feeding...

    Self Serve Price Increase

lol. I hadn't thought of it but they also ask for a dollar or two when they come up to me. Cost of panhandling has apparently gone up!

    No power at meter box

Yes, each wire is giving us 120v total of 240v. I'm not at the wash, but it is wired exactly the same as the working bays. We moved this one to a working bay and it worked fine, moved the working bay transformer to this bay and it didn't work. swapped them back to the way they were just to make...

    Self Serve Price Increase

No bonus at all. I think it would only confuse people if I posted something other than very basic pricing.

    Self Serve Price Increase

I raised mine last fall to $2 start for 3 minutes 20 seconds, basically a penny a second and of course 25 seconds for every extra quarter. No push back at all and significant increase in revenue due to dropping from 4 minutes for $2. That extra 50 cents a wash adds up.

    No power at meter box

My 4 bay self serve has national pride equipment. One of the bays has lost power to the meter box. We have swapped the transformer from another bay that is working with the non-working transformer and it still gets no power to the meter box. But the transformer of the non-working bay works in...

Paint your Concrete Block in your bays or no ?

I'm considering taking down the old FRP and painting. The existing is an off white/tan(ish) color and just always looks dirty no matter how much you clean it. I would think using a good paint would let you spray it down fairly quickly between deep cleans and allow you to do touch ups as needed...

Average Washes for an IBA life

I'm looking at a SS/IBA wash that is about 15 years old with original equipment. It has been reasonably well maintained but the IBA, Istobal, has about 125,000 washes on it. Any guesstimates as an average life that can be expected?

I intend to raise my self serve prices this year....

I just moved mine from a $2 start for 4 minutes to $2 start for 3:20. I had thought about just going to $3 for 4 minutes but was concerned I would lose the "rinse" only customers who don't do a full wash but this would make the mudders pay more to rinse off the heavy mud since they can't do it...

    High pressure break away connection

Got to the wash last night to find this high pressure line disconnected at the boom. Is there a preferred brand or style of connection to use for these? I've never replaced one of these yet, so any advice is appreciated of what to expect. I read an old thread about brass vs stainless, are there...

    Weep mizer not weeping

It's getting cold in Ohio and my weep mizer isn't weeping. I have checked the fuse and I opened and cleaned the solenoid (circled) and it seemed to have water in it when I opened it, so I presume it is working correctly. What else should I look for as a possible issue? It's getting down to the...
