Here’s a quick link showing how simple it is for a customer to sign up for a membership. https://youtube.com/shorts/TwF95PFpxmk?si=1D_y3CJRI4j1nTEE

They are recyclers so I assumed that was the reason. Perhaps there is a bill limit? Randy might know the reasoning

Arimitsu 520 bay pump seal kits only lasting 6 months before leaking

Not an Arimitsu pump guy but hot temps could contribute to premature seal failure. If you are in the self serve business the most common temps to run should be no more than about 120 degrees F. If you can’t turn down your thermostat you should probably install a blending valve to prevent...

Single Door Vac Suction issue- no clue

Likely One motor is running and pulling air through the non-running motor. The JE ADAMS vac that I recently worked on had an inline fuse. Check to see if you have one.

Dencar Technology Retrofit Doors (ACW Goldline)

Looks nice and a simpler install than an entire unit. The self contained cashless unit with the larger touchscreen is 13,900. I think they also require a back room controller for each site which is about $2500 but not 100% positive. Super simple and quick membership signup if desired...

Looking for a Mobile App for Self Serve and IBA

Just talked to the owner of everwash. They have purchased coinless and plan on continuing operations pretty much as is. The system should remain functional and they plan to improve it as they feel it would compliment their business. So, a big relief as far as I’m concerned. All Tech support...

    New to the business

Magid Wand is no more. For new decals you are likely on your own. Fatboy might can tell us but there might not be a replacement for those keypad controllers. If that is the case you will need to eventually come up with a solution. You could get new doors now from someone like Etowah Valley or...

    PreSoak streaking

I know the thread has drifted off topic, but part of the confusion I always have when talking throughput is what counts as "wash time". I normally start my timer from the time I leave the pay station until I exit the dryers. Undercarriage can take up to 30 seconds and my dryers take 60, so...

    Best Offboard dryers

Belanger air cannons are good. They are expensive new so not an option for a penny pincher. But you can find them used on Facebook groups occasionally.

I have two touchless car wash machines need to be installed at Georgia as quickly as possible

Coach why did you resurrect a four year old thread?

    PreSoak streaking

You do compromise if the machine runs too fast. Despite some claims of perfectly clean cars in a couple of minutes if you watch YouTube videos you'll find many washes run about four or five minutes. Still relatively fast. This is a picture of an obviously very dirty car that went through a...

    Where to buy softener media

Russ at Buckeye hydro has been contributing to the forum lately- worth getting a quote. 10% crosslink is supposed to be more chlorine tolerant.

Zathura21, It's been a few weeks. Any updates?

End Of Wash Select 2 from DRB

At this point they have effectively killed sales of new wash selects. You only get four years of tech support and guaranteed parts availability. They're easy to keep running with parts from RDM but at this point why would anyone pay 10K+ when you can buy a used one and add cryptopay and have...

Best rollover wash for 13’ bay width tunnel?

Ryko friction is not a terrible choice. I don't know anything about them but you may have to find out how you can access the machine to service it. I had a friend that installed a wizard in a tight bay and he had to install doors in his walls to access the side panels of the machine.

Best rollover wash for 13’ bay width tunnel?

Yeah, but you'll have the cleanest car wash in town!

    Upgrading an RO system

They have better more consistent drying ability than we do in IBAs. My friend's company has ripped out quite a few 6-8 membrane systems that probably cost 15-20K new.

End Of Wash Select 2 from DRB

That is the end of an era! I have used mostly WS IIs and they were reliable units with just enough built in technology (small fleet and keypad discount options) for most operators.
