    Floejet pump

Check to make sure your refrigerated dryer is still working. One of mine had an auto drain dump that quit working and it was allowing moisture into the lines.

    New Car Wash Owner Questions

What you are describing is an express wash. The initial investment seems to be running about 3-4 million dollars right now for a good site. Look at Sonny's website here for more info, they are a leading manufacturer: https://sonnysdirect.com/lrn_car_wash_index

Help with cavitation after replacing seals and valves.

How do your cat pumps get water? Is it pressure fed, or is there a tank outside the picture that feeds via gravity?

    Rowe changer working very slow

Glad to hear it. I used to clean that track Monthly. Rowe did sell a long handled bristle brush that looks like a stiff bristled toothbrush with about a 12" handle that you can use to clean it up easily.

Looking for a Mobile App for Self Serve and IBA

Got a email from a guy named Conner on Thursday. He's catching up on emails. He is filling in for Braden until they find a permanent replacement. FWIW, Conner said Coinless intends to continue operations, which is good.

Have you cleaned the hopper track with that long handled brush?

Help with cavitation after replacing seals and valves.

Maybe? I guess if it is downstream of the valve that shuts off soap flow itself it's a possibility. It's worth investigation

best water resistant glue/contact cement for air shammee

I've used goop or similar contact cement and it seems to hold up ok. I tape it on with painters tape until the cement dries, then remove it.

    Worldpay chargeback fee

All in all other than a recent coordinator fiasco with cryptopay I'm fairly happy. Looking at a February 2024 statement it looks like they charge me 2.50 per chargeback which is pretty reasonable. My ticket average is $12 and my fees are pretty consistently 4.1%. Worldpay might be a pain but I...

Help with cavitation after replacing seals and valves.

Check for adequate inlet water flow. Look for any water leak on the suction side. Also, look for anywhere a small amount of air could be getting in the water stream. Anywhere water is leaking out air can get in when the pump is running. If all that is OK, I'd swap with another bay unloader.

    Order of your Passes

I don't know the specific simoniz products and that would be a good question for a simoniz rep. Personally, I'd want to stay away from any products that contain seal oil, especially early in the wash process. I'd probably want my premium product to be the first to hit the paint for the best...

No HP Soap Or Wax Draw On Brand New Coleman Hanna Self Serve

I've never worked on one, but I'm assuming it needs some vacuum in the suction line to work. I would try slowly cutting off the water supply valve from the tank to the point that the pump starts to get noisy, then back off just until the noise goes away. See if you get enough suction there.

    Stainless fittings

I've used some low pressure stainless fittings on bay manifolds and don't think I've had one crack yet. My tire cleaner eats brass for breakfast.

Possible to get an email or text if changer is down?

Don't know all changers but you would need a small single pole relay that has a operating voltage the same as your light. When the changer powers the light it would also power the relay, which would close the contacts on the sensor and then the yolink app would send you a push notification that...

    Push Lok install

if the hose is fresh and pliable they go on easy up to 1/2". Once the hose ages and stiffens up they become more difficult. I've got some old 3/4" hose for spotfree in my IBA and they are nearly impossible to get on all the way.

Mercury Relay vs Fuse to Protect IDX MX-8 / IDX MX-10 Foamy Brush & Tire Cleaner

I think I have a standard 20 amp glass fuse- not a slow blow. Smaller would be fine too. The 1/2 HP procon pumps use about 8 amps so I imagine a 10 would be fine.

Mercury Relay vs Fuse to Protect IDX MX-8 / IDX MX-10 Foamy Brush & Tire Cleaner

I fused my MX 10 many years ago with a cheap glass inline fuse. Seems to work fine and I know it has protected it at least once when a motor failed. But a mercury relay would be a good idea too.

    Understanding in-line tips and ratios

Search a ratio chart for your hydrominder model. If it is a self serve it is likely a 506 or 511. Ratios with the screw in tips vary from 4:1 to 240:1. This is a rough guideline only as mentioned as there are several variables. The biggest one is the viscosity of the product. For example you...
