That switch came from an inside bay, next to the ER. The coin boxes are mounted in the center of the bay. In the beginning, I was lucky to get a year out of the switches until I found the hex seals.

You might consider putting a simple light switch between the weepmizer and solenoid. Makes trouble shooting and testing a lot easier.

Good point on the internal added heat exchanger. Mine has that too, but struggled with running glycol through it. So I have a Takagi Demand that handles the floor heat with ease!

I installed the Phoenix PH199-55 back in 2014. It was less than $4k shipped. Price now without shipping is $5479. Pretty hefty increase in 7 years. But it's a great water heater. Never had an issue with it or never ran out of Hot Water!
