The "lost warning" could be part of the solution for us to protect against our non customers from using our ChangeMakers instead of the more appropriate goto bank or CoinStar machine. It is surprising how "entitled" some of those rascals can become. I was even screamed at & called "rascist"...

Cat 310 - Water in the Oil

We had some brand new cat pumps that we bought from a local company a long time ago. Nobody was smart enough to take the tape off the vent hole. In that specific situation ... it caused water in the oil. No need to keep shouting warranty at them as soon as we unplugged that hole on top of the...

    frozen pit water

We used to have an open bay that we would shut down during the whole winter. Using farm-duty trough heat elements turned out to be unbelievably expensive to keep it thawed out so we were ready to open earlier in case of an early spring-like weather year. A lot depends on how cold your area...

Does God have a sense of humor?

Mac & others, When you experience first hand the gift of FAITH on how God makes greatness happen on HIS TIME ... then you realize how a sense of humor & NOT taking ourselves too seriously is needed! IMHO ... i am pretty sure HE was smiling at CANA when & where HE changed water into wine!

    Q-See cameras out of business

yoo betcha yoo lillleee booties ... manuals always cover everything ... nuthin leffft out. Seriously, I am hoping that one of us Wyze users on this forum has done or does take the time to do the required test ... as in going back on the Micro SD card during a time they or me has the network or...

    Quarter Thieves

If our so called public servants & media did their jobs in a needed fair minded way... that specific add on cost & availability problem would not exist!!!

    Q-See cameras out of business

Have you verified that the "cloud" dependency that Wyze has... that could possibly prevent the Micro SD from logging?

    Voltage Spike Snub Experience?

I personally was encouraged by 3 of the 4 nephews who worked for me & who happened to be more into electronics & computers than most 15 year olds ... to invest in a very expensive oscilloscope. I resisted & never did. Any of my fellow operators went to the length of actually measuring...

    Voltage Spike Snub Experience?

Below is a pic of a bank of an Automation Direct's product within our 10+ year old dog wash. AD's new version is ZIPLink Transorb Module: 8-pole (PN# ZL-TSD8-120) | AutomationDirect Here is a picture. Any thoughts or better yet actual experience ... on how these kinds of devices might help...

    Q-See cameras out of business

Hopefully, nothing like that will happen to Wyze Cams. Maybe the Wyze's SD card would still work???

    New autocashier

How long have those various touchscreens been in use for the public? Can the part where the customer touches be replaced by the car wash operator? I remember when I was visiting with Mike Doyle on the phone about touchscreens & how he wisely said that the ideal touchscreen is set up like the...

Re-wire SS Vac for detail shop use

I wonder if a possible low cost time delay relay with enough amperage could be integrated with the change-over. Digikey is where I personally would tend to start looking to see what their time setting ranges are etc. The behind a concrete block wall is what we did for our 2 room dog wash back...

Self Serve - Breaker in control box getting stuck

Based on our first hand experience ... your contactor possibly was undersized. In other words the amp rating for the contacts was too low for your equipment. Yes ... manufacturers have been known to undersize the needed amp rating so it is not always an operator or a former owner!

My goal for 2021 (businesswise) is to ______________________________

Hopefully, get stronger in the ability to organize & be able to access key information pertinent to our 3 semi automated services that we provide. Easier said than done ... but if we avoid unnecessary worthless distractions ...

Anyone using LPR license plate readers?

Has anyone used a $20 Wyze 3 cam for license plate recognition? The company has greatly improved the way they work with light compared to their earlier versions. We have found by using smart phone mirroring-computer apps ... the SD card is no longer as critical. They say the 2 way audio is...

    Flowjet G57...Viton or Santoprene?

I remember back in the days when were transferring from 30 gallon drums to 5 gallon pails. For over 15 years we happily & successfully just had a nifty setup where we introduced less than 5 psi into the drum via 1 (teed) or both of their 2 top ports. We actually found a low eough psi relief...

    Help with Ginsan boards frying

I wonder if a "floating ground" might potentially have a way to contribute to an intermittent problem similar to this? My EE control specialist nephew tended to be a stickler for making sure that one side of the 24VAC was best always made to be 0 VAC.

    License plate recognition software

It seems like the tricky part is to be able to mount a camera at the needed lic plate lower height which may make it vulnerable to vandalism or whatever???

    Air Shamee

Not sure if we have the absolute very best possible ... but our customers seem to be OK with the extra simple Carolina Pride wand-gun-nozzle for our specific self service Blo Dry. Could this be another case of "ignorance is bliss" :) ???
