    Custom Coin Boxes

I just heard from Jim at EV yesterday and he said that his push buttons should now work with Dixmor timers. He wrote some code to update the board and so far so good. Guess it was as easy as MEP001 said:)

JC combo vac transformer keeps going out

I unscientifically decided that the swiper was the issue. I bought two swipers from KR and installed one at each wash. Over the weekend the vac at the other wash with the new swiper blew the transformer as well. So it can't be a coincidence. I shipped the swipers back to Cryptopay, but I...

JC combo vac transformer keeps going out

I have a JC Fragrance/Vac that I installed a cryptopay swiper in just over a week ago. After a few hours, the 120/24v transformer went bad. I ordered one and replaced it two days ago. Now this morning it went out again. I haven't had a transformer go bad in all of my years and 15 JC vacs...

You don't want your 6 million? :) I could tell right away he was full of crap.

Adding another bay to power pack/super saver

True, I'll have to look around and see what I can find. Need to decide if this stand is worth using first. It's 16 years old and wasn't taken care of very well. I noticed in the panel box that there is a modem hanging there connecting to something. Anyone know what that was used for?

Adding another bay to power pack/super saver

I found a 5 bay that I can buy locally, but the stand is smaller and doesn't have an extra space for another pump. the only place I can think of putting it would be to move the rinse and weep solenoids somehow. Either that or somehow extend the stand. It is an older stand so I am not sure if...

    Custom Coin Boxes

If I am going to replace my meter boxes, I figured that I would move them away from the middle of the bay and closer to one of the ends so that they don't keep getting in the way of the water:) If I do that, I would have to run new wires as what I have now wouldn't reach. Plus on a couple of...

    Custom Coin Boxes

From what Doug told me, the decoder board is a must if using the 13 button system. That way you only use 8 wires to the bay. It is called "retrofit kit for Ultra system" on the quote, so not sure what model it is. Also, if I'm already running new wire to the bays, I wouldn't fee comfortable...

    Custom Coin Boxes

True, but if you go with their 11 button door (10+stop) you don't need the decoder board. I verified that both the 11 and 13 button doors work with the Dixmor. The 13 just needs the extra decoder board which costs $221 or so direct from Ginsan. I still can't decide between rotary switch and...

Adding another bay to power pack/super saver

Anyone ever added another bay to a JC Power Pack or Super Saver? I have a six bay wash, but it seems that most of what I find used out there are 5 bay setups. Would it be hard to add another bay to one of these?

    Foam Brush Woes

I don't have soft water at one wash and the foam brush doesn't spit or stutter... Comes out pretty foamy.

Physical Water Conditioner vs. traditional salt tank

The main thing I need is for something to reduce stress on the RO membrane. I was told that the physical conditioner would, but I wanted to check here as I didn't think so.

Physical Water Conditioner vs. traditional salt tank

Anyone use a physical water conditioner instead of a salt system to get soft water? I was thinking of using a PUR Clean type system to avoid having to install a water softener, but was then told about physical water conditioners. Anyone use one or have any thoughts regarding this method? The...

Jim Coleman 93005 Vacuum - LED6 & Slugbuster II - How to Wire?

Awesome! Sucks that you had to replace the timer, but it's nice when you figure something out. You will need the LED6s for Fragrance as well.

Jim Coleman 93005 Vacuum - LED6 & Slugbuster II - How to Wire?

Trying another timer is your best bet at this point just to make sure the issue is with the timer like you suspect. Another thing to check is to make sure that the wires going into the harness are making a good connection.

Jim Coleman 93005 Vacuum - LED6 & Slugbuster II - How to Wire?

Something quick that I found for now.. Also, have you checked to make sure the horn itself isn't the issue? Check the wires on it and swap it just to be sure. 1 Not Used 2 Quarter Input Orange w/ Black Stripe 3 Horn (- Horn (-) Green w/ Black Stripe 4 Horn (+) Red/Black 5 Safety...

Jim Coleman 93005 Vacuum - LED6 & Slugbuster II - How to Wire?

Make sure you don't have those wires crossed and going to the wrong wire. If polarity is wrong, it won't make a sound. I've had that issue before where I just switched the wires.

Jim Coleman 93005 Vacuum - LED6 & Slugbuster II - How to Wire?

Purple wire doesn't go to anything, I can check the schematic and let you know about the blue wire tomorrow.

    Ryko radius opinions

At the show I was told they offer a high volume version and also a high velocity version. You need to make sure you know which one you are looking at.

Jim Coleman 93005 Vacuum - LED6 & Slugbuster II - How to Wire?

They are wired up the same, you can just plug the harness right into the LED6. I did 3 vacs lately. Plug and play other than using a dedicated wire for the bill acceptor.
