    Custom Coin Boxes

Pgrzes, what timer are you using in the coinboxes? I wanted to get a new door with push buttons, but was told the LED7 couldn't handle it. I don't want to buy new timers...

    Rotary pump vs. Flojet

I currently have rotary Procon/Vane pumps for all low pressure functions at my washes, but as I have been shopping for a new pump stand, I see that a lot of companies are using FloJet pumps for low pressure. Is one better than the other?

    New In-bay Safes

It is against code, but I guess if nobody is checking then people do all kinds of crazy things with wires. Luckily it wasn't too deep.

Setting up loyalty progam for IBA

Monthly programs are nice, but they work much better on conveyor washes. Not enough volume on the in bay, then I would also have to find a way to add an rfid system or similar, and I don't have room for that.

Setting up loyalty progam for IBA

I can use either a card or a code, but I think a code is much easier. I could just get their information via email and then respond with a code that they can use each time. I was thinking about doing a buy 9 any wash and get a free $15 wash for your tenth. Maybe I should lower the requirement.

Setting up loyalty progam for IBA

I want to setup a loyalty progam for my IBA's, but with the wash only being only occasionally staffed, I wasn't sure how to promote it. Anyone else doing loyalty for IBA and have thoughts on whether it's worth doing, and how you are promoting it? I thought about running a banner across each...

    New In-bay Safes

Mac, are you actually using the boxes with the hidden vault yourself, or just installed them for others? I am curious about the day to day and if there was potential for damage to the wires etc. over time. At one wash I lost power to a couple of vacs. After troubleshooting everything that I...

    New In-bay Safes

Anyone have experience with coin boxes that have the vault hidden inside? You just open the main door then the there would be a box to collect the quarters. You would have access to both the bill acceptor and the quarters at once, so I'm not sure if it's a good idea. I also worry that taking...

Anti Freeze Foam Brush, Red leftovers...

No harm in using it. I have a bunch left over so I am just saving it until the winter, but I have just used it up in the past.

    In-Bay Tire Shine

Anyone have any experience with the in-bay tire shine that Diskin makes? I have been thinking about adding it, but still don't hear anything about real world experience with them. They are down to about $1100/bay this week and I'm not sure if it is worth it. Thoughts?

    Wash Pictures

Yes, Brother brand. I expected better as well. The letters are what fade, so maybe the white letters will hold up better since the black tape will probably not fade.

    Wash Pictures

I want whatever would hold up the best in the sun as the black on white just fades too quick. Any experience with the other color options?

For the black on clear, is it visible at all on a black background? It doesn't seem like it should be, but I wasn't sure if the tape was completely clear or not.

Belt for JC Super Saver Cat 5cp2120

I did get one from a local store to get by, but it seems to be a tad short. I can't get the belt cover to go back on and it looks like I need to move the pump about another 3/4 inch, but I can't stretch it any further. It is a B44 belt.

Thanks! Any brands better than others in your experience?

Belt for JC Super Saver Cat 5cp2120

Anyone know if this belt from KR would work on the Super Saver pump stand as a replacement? What I have now says B44. https://www.kleen-ritecorp.com/p-560-goodyear-belt-type-v-pitch-diameter-44-outside-diameter-47.aspx

Jim Coleman Fresh-N-Vac & Scrub-N-Vac...Are they more trouble than they're worth?

I think vac decals are around $60 from sta. Winter shampoo is a must, I've had many heating pads fail. My hoses seem to only break right at the handle, not in the middle. I have been taping the hose protector to the grey part to help keep it from slipping down.

Jim Coleman Fresh-N-Vac & Scrub-N-Vac...Are they more trouble than they're worth?

constant tone when it happens to mine has always been the timer. I just replace it with a spare then get it repaired. Could also be something shorting the horn, but probably the timer. Throw another timer in there to check.

Jim Coleman Combo Vac Issue -

Replaced the timer to a Dixmor LED6s and is working so far. That one has a dedicated bill input, so that might have fixed it.

Jim Coleman Fresh-N-Vac & Scrub-N-Vac...Are they more trouble than they're worth?

They are now over 6k each without bill acceptors. Which wash did you buy the IVS vacs from?
