Jim Coleman Fresh-N-Vac & Scrub-N-Vac...Are they more trouble than they're worth?

They are worth way more than $100, so if you have to pay more, I wouldn't hesitate and would buy them all anyway. Like you said, parts alone are worth a lot.

    Auto Tellers Opinions

I have two Portal Ti units and they have been great. Very easy to use and almost every feature you can think of. They did just change it to the Ti+ with a bigger screen, so it's even nicer. Only issues I've had in two years is the ssd hard drive has gone bad on me twice.

Jim Coleman Fresh-N-Vac & Scrub-N-Vac...Are they more trouble than they're worth?

I agree with cfcw, and those don't look that bad at all. Very easy to make them look like new. I buy some parts from Coleman, a few from KR. I would throw a Dixmor timer in there if you need a replacement. I did notice that Coleman started using those in their new vacs as well. I like both...

Jim Coleman Fresh-N-Vac & Scrub-N-Vac...Are they more trouble than they're worth?

I went from 6 super vacs to 8 combo vacs. Love them. Not hard to maintain and they get used. For fragrance, I use oil based and it doesn't freeze. I put winter shampoo in the cold months for those and rarely have an issue. Only issue with fragrance I've had is the solenoids get gummed up...

    MEI in bay bill acceptor

Just like I.B said, it is plug and play unless your are adding a bill acceptor or cc. For those, the Dixmor has separate inputs for them and the bill acceptor wires up slightly different. If you are adding a bill acceptor, just run the coin pulse to pin 7 on the timer, then instead of having...

New Pump Stand and Coin Boxes

I almost bought a used Coleman stand last year, but it wouldn't fit in my tiny ER. The EW stand was less than half the cost of every other stand that I priced at the show, and it included external meter boxes with safes. Just the shell, as I would reuse my coin and bill acceptors, cryptoypay...

    CAT 310 wearing out quickly

I've used Vilco and the pumps run like new. $149 for all 6 heads.

New Pump Stand and Coin Boxes

I am thinking about redoing one of my washes and replacing my coin boxes and pump stand. I have 623 pumps that are getting really old and take up most of my tiny ER. Thinking about using Etowah Valley for the pump stands and his coin boxes that have the coin holder hiding under the main door...

I wondered the same thing. Can't believe there isn't a fail safe.

    AutoCareForum Dinner at ICA!

Won't make it to the sessions, but I'll be at the floor when it opens at 11:30. Badge is Sami from Lexington, Ky. I'll be starting in the 1000's today, probably around Ryko and KR. Might have to leave early and miss the dinner, so hope to meet some of you guys during the show.

Bad idea to have 2 IBA machines side by side with different wash package options?

For those of you with the Colorwave or any brand of lave effect, what are you guys calling it on your menu boards?

I had some stolen a few years ago and just had a local shop make me some more. Probably your best bet.

    New In-bay Safes

I thought about building out the wall, but my bays are already so small as it is, I couldn't stand to lose any more room.

    New In-bay Safes

Makes sense. I probably won't really find anything better and will just stick with what I have. My coinboxes and safe are right in the middle of the bay, I have been thinking about moving them to one side so that they don't keep getting sprayed with water so much. In the winter they get...

    New In-bay Safes

My safes at one wash are round and only 7.5" deep. I have been wanting to swap them with square safes and a drawer, but can't find anything that small. I really can't go deeper than 9" as it would stick out too much since they are just mounted on the wall under the coin box. Anyone know if...

    MEI in bay bill acceptor

I want to add that when I first installed the LED6S timer, it wasn't working with the coin acceptor. When a coin was put in, the display on the timer just said "coin". I called Dixmor and they said that the word "coin" showed up when it took too long to get the coin pulse. They said that...

    MEI in bay bill acceptor

I was able to use the same exact harness and they both plug right in. The 8 pin you just plug in and your done. On the 10 pin, I took the purple wire from pin 1 (unused) and just plugged it into pin 7 on the harness and attached that to the bill acceptor. There is a yellow wire that jumps...
