    Dollar coin shortage?

Please keep in mind that switching to Tokens doesn't guarantee supply. We keep plenty of tokens on hand but when I re-ordered this past summer there was a delay as they had to wait for a particular metal to make the blanks. I know someone else that uses a different token and they waited...

Splash n dash or regular self serve set up?

Rfreeman, is the giant tank in the middle a holding tank for rinse water? Is that set up 'gravity feed'...doesn't look to be much gravity involved?

    Soap and Wax Plumbing

Its not an ideal situation as all of my pressure fed wash stands have the electrical over the motors which are over the pumps. No way I'm moving and rewiring the stands. The Rinse tank will need to be about 6' over the floor. I'd like to mount the soap and wax tanks around 3-4'. Figured I...

    Soap and Wax Plumbing

On our gravity feed set up, the soap, wax and rinse tanks are all mounted over the pumps at the same height. All of our other washes are pressure fed which is a pain in the ass. It's been on my list for a while to convert them to gravity feed. My question is how important is it that the tanks...

    In bay floor heater concern

cantbreak80, I'm suprised the old floor had no wire in it? How did they even keep the runs straight? That crete heat looks like its worth its cost. Any way you can give some rough numbers for that job either a per bay cost or square foot cost separately for the tear out, creteheat, pex and...

    Laser wash 360

We had two M5's and just replaced them with two Petits. We'll be re-installing the M5's at another location this summer if all goes as planned.

    In bay floor heater concern

A thermal camera probably won't help right now if you can't even fill it. I would shut the valves (assuming there are valves) to and from All zones and open your by-pass completely. Fill your boiler, turn the thermostat down so it doesn't fire and then open one loop at a time until you find...

Question about former owner, & selling their sign

I am curious why you would agree to pay half? If you didn't want it and they did why didn't you just say sure...come and take it down?

    Petit 360 and Cold Weather

We had this same issue for another reason. Our undercarriage is during the first presoak pass as they are parked over the spray bar. Our previous machine had it as you drove in and so customers were pulling half way in expecting the UC and then backing out, then the door would close trapping...

    Petit 360 and Cold Weather

We had an Oasis Typhoon we just replaced after 20 years of service. Great cold weather machine. Washed many days at 0 with one door. When I was younger and dumber we didn't have any doors and still washed into the single digits. We shoveled a lot of ice back in those days.

    Petit 360 and Cold Weather

We wash cars down to zero degrees outside. If we shut down when it’s 28 we’d be out of business. Winter time here is money making season.

    Petit 360 and Cold Weather

A little update on our 360’s that were installed in November. We finally got some cold weather here, last night it got down to about 15F. With one door and floor heat the bay stayed around 30F, then dipped a bit colder. About 10:30 this morning we got two emails regarding ‘motor run on’. Turns...

    Cryptopay Installation on Meter Door

It also helps if you have self serve bays and an automatic using crypto. The analytics will let you separate out the charges by bays and auto etc. To really see what it’s like and if it’s worth it contact Crypto and they will turn it on for you for free for a month to try out. I’m demoing it now...

    Chemical backflow possibility through Hydrominder

While I believe the Hydrominder Siphon Breaker and/or E-gap Eductors are to prevent your solution tank from continuing to draw chemical I would think they might also do the same if your incoming water line had negative pressure. You could always drill a hole in the hydrominder discharge tube...
