Rotary Dial, pump on and off.

This is my first car wash with a rotary dial meter. The customers rotate the dial around and around. I guess they cannot figure out what selection they want so everytime they pass high pressure rinse the pump cuts on just for a second and back off. Do you think I should put a time delay in line...

    $50,000 car wash Credit

    Crypto bay swipers not registering

My visa card works every time. Then a customer might swipe 10 times before it works or it may not at all. It seems when I have a customer that their card is not working, their card usually comes from the local small town bank. So I wonder if it might be the quality of the card.

    Please recommend pulleys

I saved the old pulleys that came off the old pumps and motors I am rehabbing. I put them back on the new pumps and motors and they vibrate very bad. I can see some wobble in the old pulleys. What kind of pulleys do you recommend on both motor and pumps on a cat 310.

    Can multiple Transformers share commons?

I rewired a 3-bay pump Stand and I added individual Transformers for each meter. They are a 100 VA Transformers and I have them wired up 208. Functions will not work unless the right common is going to the right terminal strip. Is it possible to tie all the commons together on all three...

    Help with RO machine

I replaced everything on this old Dilling Harris RO machine and it is working but I have a few questions. The incoming TDS it's 397 and the RO water is 3. What is the timer for? I'm assuming to flush the membranes but how does it do it. It looks to me it just energizes a valve that dumps to...

Hot water tank float/fill valve - Are there any that aren't complete rubbish?

I've got this same problem. I found one bad check valve and replaced it but my tank still overflows. I installed a new hudson valve but it still does it. The problem is I can never catch it doing it. I've tried each bay individually and the tank never overflows when I am there.

Water is 25 grains hard, should I use soft water for all functions?

I've already installed a alternating twin 2" fleck system. I've got all chemicals on SS and IBA plus my RO on soft water with a carbon tank. I was just thinking with the water being so hard if I should plumb the high pressure on SS and the IBA with soft water. Didn't know if soft water would...

Water is 25 grains hard, should I use soft water for all functions?

The site I am rehabbing has super hard water. Would it be better on my equipment to use soft water on everything on SS and the IBA? Or does it really matter. 25 grains just seems really hard.

    Location of Foam Brush Boom.

I am trying to decide where to mount the booms on the self serve wash I am rehabbing. The wall next to the pump room, I can mount the boom in the center. The other two bays the block does not go all the way to the ceiling in the center of the bay just about 4 feet on each end to the ceiling...

Replaced both stems and plungers in the changeover block. So far it has not done it since. I'm praying that was the fix.

    Razor problem

https://imgur.com/a/l64yHKW There is a scrubby pad like you clean pots and pans with inside the ss pipe. Its what makes the chemical foam going onto the car.

    Razor problem

It was not the scrubby pad in the HP check valve. A lady just called, no presoak, no hp rinse. I sent her back through and it worked fine. Going to replace the stem on the changeover valve and see if that does it.
