Check your new Erie foam brush heads

It's happened a couple times before and I've contacted them then. They seem concerned, but it doesn't do any good so I didn't bother.

Check your new Erie foam brush heads

I just bought a bunch of blue nylon Erie foam brush heads through Kleen-Rite. The first one I put on had the gasket come out from between the brush and the back plate. A couple weeks later I had two in two days where the head completely fell off because all the screws backed out. Luckily no...

    Foam Brush Help

You might need to increase the strength of the chemical. 60 PSI is way too high for the air. I run it 15-20 PSI.

Replacement for Ginsan Pump Stand 24v reset switch

I usually use a 5 amp, but there was a recent discussion where others said that's too big. IMO the 5 amp is small enough to protect the transformer and they keep them in stock at Home Depot.

Replacement for Ginsan Pump Stand 24v reset switch

I think that's a breaker on the 24V side. You can get them from Mouser and/or Digikey. I don't have a part number. I don't like them because they fail a lot. I use either a miniature breaker or a fuse.

DOT Is Taking Our Car Wash For Widening Road

The guy who installed the equipment got it back, cleaned it up and resold it. He knew what was going on.

DOT Is Taking Our Car Wash For Widening Road

Just an anecdote and not advice. A wash in town was purchased and rehabbed for the sole purpose of running a large amount of funds through. The new equipment was installed for easy removal. Eminent domain paid many times what the guy paid for it three years prior since it was "making $300k a...

Just Rebuilt a Cat 3535- any tips for next one?

A video popped up on my YouTube where someone did exactly this. That tool should be perfect for pulling the spacers on the 3535. (Edit: if you can get the puller behind the spacer, I haven't worked on one in so long I don't remember if you can) There may be a tool from General Pump that's the...

    Traffic Count

Access is more important than traffic count. If you're on a road with a raised median that prevents left turns in or out, traffic count is meaningless.

    Foam brush function

There is a check valve between the bladder tank and the reservoir that's probably bad. IMO you'd still be better off replacing the whole mess with a Flojet pump. It's a good idea to have something in place to stop air flow to the pump so you don't waste a bucket of soap overnight if a solenoid...

    Foam brush function

It sounds like things are mostly working like they should. The switch could be failing (It should kick on when the liquid pressure drops to about 35 PSI). You may have the air pressure too high and it's forcing its way back through the liquid line and not letting the switch activate. D/H used...

    Pulsating cat 535 pump

The pump most likely needs new seals or valve o-rings, or it may have a piece of debris in one of the valves. Fix it before you end up with broken parts from the pulsating.

    Vacuum Fire on New Vacuum

I'd certainly replace any remaining motors with something better. I've never even had a cheap Kleen-Rite motor catch on fire.

New flojet causing foam brush issues

There was a muffler on it, but it's a very dense foam rubber. If it gets wet it can't flow air and blows off. That is the indicator that you most likely have water coming out in the air. Do you have a water separator on the air line?
