I use a mild solution of muratic acid diluted with water. Cleans down to the shine for little money.

Use Muratic acid availible at home depot or any paint store. Dilute 4 parts water to 1 part acid or stronger. Spray on panels with a cheap weed sprayer or brush on with a brush and handle. Let it sit for at least a minute then scrub lightly with a soft brush and rinse off.

I may have a few cards and readers left laying around. I will check my inventory. You can also use a HID prox point reader on the old wash card system. I used both type of readers for years hooking them up so that each would work together on a bay. You can still get the prox cards and readers.

My troughs are 4 or 6 inch PVC pipes. I just run the heat tape inside them. At each bay I have a electrical box that house the various solenoids for chemical injection. I run a couple of loops around inside the boxes with the solenoids. It works to at least -35 below zero.
