Had a city plumbing inspector tell me once we could "Air Gap" Hydrominders by having the hose terminate above the liquid level in the bucket. Perhaps you can ask about that.

Per my post above. I use the coil wrap to the gun on Shampoo and Vacs because the hose saver slides down otherwise and the hose wears at the gun. On the Fresh N Vac I only cover the center 6 feet. because the hose saver stays where it should.
