I have a few but it won't work because the switch is blocked at the return and the top slot is way to far. Maybe they don't know that because I found them in electronic acceptor compartments as well.

Is there a reason I find Floss Picks occasionally in the coin mech compartment of various machines? Are some numb nuts trying to do something to the mechs?

I can't help but wonder if the small electric heater would supply / store enough volume to do the job. Could you put a small metal Can ? Paint can or bucket inside the plastic tank and put the immersion heater in that and let supply water run into that and overflow into the rest of the tank...

A tip. My hoses were lasting about a year. Failed a center where they flexed a rubbed the ground. Have added thecil type hose protector from KR to the center 3 feet. They have now lasted until dry rot sets in.

Home depot has a spray paint for plastic. May be a rustoleum product . I forget. As long as you don't want light to shine thru from underneath.

My close competitor had what looks like half a stainless cylinder with a Flange on either side. It had cutouts for the Vault and meter box so they were recessed about an inch behind the stainless. He then filled that with cement. looks awesome.
