Thanks I thought so but wasn't sure if I was missing something. A friend of mine wanted an alarm service at his wash but didn't have a land line so he bought a cell phone (kept it plugged in) and hooked his alarm service to it.

So do you have to have your cell phone at the car wash for it to work? Or does it work even if your cell phone is not at that wash? What's the system that you have?

I guess so. I see on the video people using it at night. With my eye sight I have a hard time seeing it during the day.

Waxman I have a light above my Shurvend vending machine at my express wash and it amazes me how many people stop by at night and buy something. Easy fix for your problem and it doesn't cost to much, plus added security.

You're right about some of the customer loving them so much they take them home. But the response by all the customers is overwhelming. Cost for QUALITY is less than .03 per customer. If that bothers you adjust your car wash price accordingly and you'll make a profit.

Have you looked at Wash Gear vs. Cryptopay as far as cost and reliability? Which ever you think is right for you maybe you should see if it is cost effective to just add 1 or 2 bays at a time. Spread the cost out especially with the winter coming it might be worth it.

Buy the blue or yellow microfiber towels (24) from Sam's, wash with New Era (1 cap full) warm or hot water and forget about it. Your over thinking this.
