Pressure drop at gun- CAT 310 pump

Sorry, you replied to a post I edited. I didn't see the regulator at first.

Feed Water Pressure and Watts Regulator

It definitely doesn't need to be a $535 regulator. See what the MOPD rating of the solenoids are, and whatever you replace it with just needs to adjust below that pressure.

Pressure drop at gun- CAT 310 pump

You could have a bad regulator even though it's new. Normally I would test it by pinching off the bypass hose but the way it's plumbed there isn't one. There may be a weep check valve on the other side - if that's bad, your pressure could be lost through it.

Feed Water Pressure and Watts Regulator

It's a Coleman Super Saver, that manifold has the rinse solenoids and weep on it. It's just a simple inline regulator like this one: https://www.watts.com/products/plumbing-flow-control-solutions/pressure-reducing-valves/water-pressure-reducing-valves/lf26a

My fresh n vac is stuck on

Failed fuses don't make electrical equipment stick on. Need more info on the machine.

Feed Water Pressure and Watts Regulator

That is a backflow preventer, not a regulator. It's pretty easy to rebuild, but if you expect to replace all the internal parts you're almost better off replacing the whole valve IMO. Mine is leaking badly, and a total rebuild is only $50 less than a new unit.

friction or not to friction that is the question.

Quote where I said that or STFU.

Feed Water Pressure and Watts Regulator

I'm not sure why there's a regulator on that line unless it's for the weep. IIRC the solenoids are rated for 150 PSI MOPD, so 80 won't bother them. I've taken the regulator out on that system when it has failed. The pressure to the spot free from the city doesn't affect anything since it uses...

Which Self Serve Equipment is the Best ?

My criteria for SS is that it be solid and simple, IDGAF who uses what, it just needs to work well and consistently, be easy to access and service, and you HAVE TO LOOK IT OVER EVERY DAY. Send alerts for low soap? It takes five seconds a day to check the buckets and barrels. You should be...

Are there any positive people here?

No. A typical 9 to 5 job won't require you to work or be available every weekend. If you're due a vacation, you don't have to find someone you trust to handle your job, you just schedule it and take time off. If your workplace gets broken into, no one calls at 3 AM, nor do you lie awake...

Re wash codes for people not paying attention to back up light

Offering them a free wash instead of a refund is fine if they are okay with that, wouldn't hurt to offer them two or some extra vacuum tokens to keep a customer. But if he wants a refund, even for his own ignorance, you really should give him a refund. He didn't get the wash he paid for...

Whatever this was, it has self-corrected. I haven't had any issues in the last five or six days.

    Employee giving time on Meters??????

Last time I ordered some I got them from RA-Lock. They were tubular key locks and pretty expensive. These are actually cheaper and you shouldn't have to worry about an employee copying the key. https://www.kleen-ritecorp.com/p-962-medeco-switch-lock.aspx

    Presoak

It's definitely a really good presoak, but very expensive. I tried a wash that uses AP Formulators' presoak which worked about as well and is certainly a lot cheaper.

Anyone Install a conversion for a vacuum to Air Machine & Tire Shine ???

If you get it really tight, the zinc might melt before the Loctite lets go.

Will KR give you any sample Tokens?

I ordered 10,000 tokens, cost $1700. I make 8¢ for each one that disappears. I mix them in the changer to discourage abuse. If I load the changer with about 20% tokens I lose about 500 a month. If I run straight quarters I lose more money buying quarters (It costs $35 for a box of $500) plus...

Anyone Install a conversion for a vacuum to Air Machine & Tire Shine ???

Put red Loctite on the threads and they won't be able to unscrew it to steal it. Of course you'll have to cut the hose and crimp on a new fitting if you need to replace the chuck. This is probably why none of the air machines I've seen have a chuck with a gauge, they just have a $2 tire fill...

    The 75 Cent Mystery

I was going to order some MA850's but I couldn't get any, so I got Microcoin QL. They've been perfect. Car wash coin acceptors are interchangeable except some use three wires and some use four. Just wire it to the timer's specs.

    The 75 Cent Mystery

They can't repair the MA800 anymore. The MA850 replaced it, and last I checked they can't get any made to sell.
