If this is a Cryptopay system then you can have them lower the hold amount from $10 to whatever you want. Of course, the lower it is the more chance of not getting paid. Another thing you can do is change the name of the wash with the card system to include the words "Pre-Auth" in front of it.

I thought you said it was 85 but was due for a membrane change out. What is the TDS typically right after a membrane change? It is possible to start leaving spots on black cars with anything over 25 TDS.

That is a pretty interesting concept but it looks dangerous for employees. Maybe there are photo eyes or something similar that will shut it down if someone gets into its workspace. Also in his videos, there is only one robot and only preps the front, back, and one side of the car.

Did you have 1/2" thick panels? I'm pretty sure those nuts are thicker than our 3/8" panels.

Do you have a shipping club membership with Car Wash Superstore? They sell a one gallon concentrate that we use (for summer) and we mix 5:1 for carpet and 3.5:1 for spot. It is their brand but I believe it is made by National Automotive Chemical.
