K.I.S.S. do not pay more than 4x gross. But, there are quite a few variables to consider, like Rob Roman said. The #'s may move down some...maybe a lil more...but not move up higher.

If somebody knows whether or not a LaserWash 4000 can be mounted in a bay w/ 10'6" ceiling, lemme know. I have a tentative deal to buy a used Laser, if it fits in my bay. Also, I'd like to mount it as high in that ceiling as possible, to gimme about 7'6". Is that possible?

I understand that, but can you just mount your IBA's a little higher...thus giving you a higher clearance? Conversley, if you have a low ceiling, like I do (10'6"), can you even mount a LaserWash 4000? That is what I am working to buy, used 1 that is...

Most IBA's I see have a 7' clearance. What needs to be done, to make it 7'6", or 8'? If it's raising the roof, then I wander how much that might cost? 3 I-beams & some tin....?

After thinking about it further, I believe David is correct. There are probably just more Laser 4000's, & therefore more of them to sell. Those guys seem to be mostly updating to 360's, so they must like PDQ & their suppliers & distributors.

I agree w/ JimmyJaffa. $325k would be the MAX I'd give. Unless the guy is an idiot, why is it only making $90k/yr? There could be many reasons, why, & us folks from several States away have no idea. lol

If it looks like there are a lot more Laserwashes for sale, one might surmise that more people are trying to get rid of them, because perhaps they may not be satisfied. However, there may be a large % of them that are simply upgrading to new PDQ systems. On carwashconsignment: I have tried...

look how many Laser 4000's are for sale vs. WashWorld machines. Of course, there are a lot more Lasers in operation, but an inordinate amount for sale. But...many are for sale on carwashconsignment.com, & good luck using their website to email anyone who is wanting to sell.

I concur. I have the exact same experience. Car wash consignment has no way to get ahold of the sellers...
