    Handi-Clam Pit Tool

I have no experience with them, but the guy I recently bought my Ring-O-Matic from said he had one, and loved it. Actually used it sometimes to fill the dump on the ROM as it was easier sometimes.

    Nayax C/C for car wash?

Pardon my ignorance, but learning about alternative equipment to tender card based payments, why would it not be feasible to say implement a lexan/clear abs hinged door to protect the reader? I have one on my change machine and it sees like it would be a smart idea regardless of IP rating?

    Free vacuums & mat washing?

You have it all wrong. Perhaps I didn't provide enough info. The wash was closed for over a year. I'm a first time wash owner. I bought the wash from a large international asset management company. Our first month showed a respectable net profit. Sales have been increasing steadily since...

    Free vacuums & mat washing?

I'm a new wash owner since July. Things have been going great I should say. I do have one question. I have 5 Fragramatic vacs along with a mat cleaning machine that get literally no use. I might make $50-75/wk on all vacs, and the mat wash is $0 I was considering offering free vacs and mat...

Why is no one excited about floor mat cleaners

I have an Air Mat machine at my wash. I've owned the wash since July and have been open since mid August. It appears real simple. I can count on one hand the amount of people that have used it. Actually I helped some old lady use it today and was surprised at how well it cleaned them. I...

I agree. Sometimes a little true justice is what I feel would keep criminal activity low. Our justice and punishment system is a joke.

    Wash Card

Thanks Stuart. I took my most problematic reader and used another, less used/better condition read to replace it. I got the reader out and disassembled it. WOAH - it was chock full of dirt, muck, you name it. the PC board looked good, but I gave the mag reader a good cleaning along with all...

    Wash Card

For the sake of retaining customers ( I just reopened the wash after being shuttered for 15 months ), my sanity and a bit of my freedom, I'm considering bitting the bullet and just buying new readers. The ones in my wash are from 2008, and from what I gather from searching some of the other...

    Wash Card

I'm a new owner, and my wash had Wash Card. I love the system, if only the damn thing would be more stable. I have CONSTANT issues with the LCD screens saying "Out Of Service", Unauthorized cards, or just random reboots. Sometimes you have to swipe a card 3,4+ times. Sometimes it won't take...

    Towel Station

Thanks for the pics. I used a cart from Sams with some white terry towels for interior/exterior drying, and red for wheels. Not too impressed with the terry towels from Sams, and with the hugely positive response I've had from customers, am considering upgrading the drying towels from either...

I plan on the same. I wouldn't ask for "papers please". Not sure about your area, but I would think my area would have a minimum of losers that lie about military service.

Crack filling and Sealing asphalt lot.

I just had my whole lot re-coated, crack filled and striped for about $5000. They mopped it on ( costlier ). Just a guess, but about 25K sq/ft

Feedback & Complaints - How do you guys post contact info?

Yeah, I set up a Google Voice. Now I just need to make some signs and post them. For now, since we only opened about 5 weeks ago - I have my personal cell number posted on the doors.

Feedback & Complaints - How do you guys post contact info?

Yeah, in retrospect, you're right. It's just I was 4 hours away and couldn't think of a better alternative at the moment. I guess it's a learning process. I told them to text me their mailing address for the free washes, and they never did. Thanks
