    Foamy Brush (Winter)

It works - I've never tried it with methanol and soap but I've dual-injected two soaps with a manifold cobbled together out of plastic fittings and it works perfectly.

    Bulkhead Fittings?

I used to use large plastic storage tanks for RO storage that had no holes or bulkheads and would drill a hole in the bottom edge for a 1/2" NPT plastic fitting. It should last a lifetime as long as it isn't overtightened enough to break or gets run into and damaged.

New Cat 310 running rough - any suggestions?

You don't need an unloader if you're using weep guns - I'm assuming you are since the pressure isn't dropping to zero when the trigger is released. The unloader has a check valve built into the outlet, so not having one on the outlet wouldn't change anything. You may have a bad unloader. I've...

Buying Touchless Wash and need advice

We also haven't discussed the clientele. Mostly apartment dwellers is always better than upper middle class homes. Middle class and above native English speakers is always better than those who don't speak English at all or for whom English is a secondary language.

    Potential first investment

Why is it performing so poorly? What do you have planned to bring the income up? Assuming those financials are accurate, it's not even netting $1000/month. The automatic's income is dismal. How long can you afford to operate at a loss once you're paying a note?

VOTE: Being a self serve car was owner is easy....

I votes yes for the same reason, although trying to run a single car wash and work a full-time job isn't so easy.

    Self server air dryers

The ones I saw it on had a short piece of hose coming out of the unit mounted above the boom, then the swivel, then the hose through the boom was screwed into that and was flexed 90° below the cuff.

    Self server air dryers

    I've seen where someone used a swivel splicer. They're $3.45 https://www.kleen-ritecorp.com/p-6639-double-threaded-vac-swivel-cuffs-2-hose-x-2-hose.aspx

    The most disgusting thing________________________________

Deer guts, though I didn't find them, I had just pulled up and a cop pulled in behind me saying someone called about human entrails in one of the bays.

    Self server air dryers

I would think if they're going to do that anyway the high pressure spray would be more effective.

    Vending Prices

Maybe your selected location doesn't offer ship-to-store. I show 12 within 30 minutes of me that I can choose. I didn't have to create an account to see them. I've been in a couple Dollar Tree stores that were a mess, presumably because they were short-staffed and the customers are slobs...

    Super 5000 troubles

Check the encoder wheel too. If it's metal, make sure it's tight on the shaft. If it's the newer plastic wheel, make sure the metal disks in it are all at the same level. They can work themselves out of the wheel for some reason. I don't remember if this will work on the Super 5000, but on...

Advice for biz that wants 50 washes as Christmas gifts

Tokenotes are a Hamilton product. They're pretty affordable even in small quantities, but you need a Hamilton validator to use them. It's the MEI coupons that are so expensive, and they can only put cash value on the Goldline unless you use some "trickery" through a ladder relay or PLC. You...

    Need new Coin Acceptor

The Slugbuster II and III are about a $40 difference in price at Kleen-Rite. I would suggest getting a dol lar co in and trying it in your existing ones to see if they've been de-programmed (By default it should take them). If they still take them, you might as well save the $40 and go with SB...

    Need new Coin Acceptor

Are you using any special coded or security tokens? If you are, you may have to use the X12's. The MA-850 that replaced the MA800 seem to be reliable - I haven't tried them but a local guy has replaced all his at two washes about a year ago and they've been working without any issues. I used to...

Windshield washer fluid or RV anti freeze?

If you're tee'ing into all the product lines and they'll be fed with one air source, yes, you're going to need a check valve on each line or any one bay that comes on will flow through all the connected blowdown lines and out all the bays. Either will work controlling the Flojet, but for many...
