Why is there a new looking sign that has hand wash and detailing prices on it? Could he have "sold" it once already on land contract or leased it once and it fell through soon thereafter? Also he always wanted a car wash and now he doesn't?

Also there's the current water supply, sewer size and gas supply to consider.

APW changed the name of his car washes with Cryptopay to Pre Auth Car Wash. (or something like that) That way when they see the charge they know it's temporary.

Keep in mind that the hold is sitewide and not just on one swiper. If you have Cryptopay on vacs and bays get ready for the phone calls about being overcharged.

Are these customers using standard debit or credit cards? If so then it will settle to the $22 but might take several days depending on the bank. Prepaid cards can be an issue. We have seen several that never settled out for some reason. There are also "burner cards" out there but I don't know...

I'm not sure if Cryptopay is the best but it might be the most practical when all things are considered. Yes at this point you have to use Worldpay.

Like Mep said it could be insufficient funds. It is a bad design IMHO to let it start for a second or so without fully verifying funds. It could also be a bad button. Is the halo around the button lit green?

I agree but we would have to pay more for their fees and equipment costs for them to cover the weekends. Labor isn't free.

It helps more with the low pressure function switch over time that are teed above the bay. We are still using 3/8" all the way but I always wanted to try a 1/4" bay hose with a pressure gauge at the tip and compare to 3/8".

I'm not sure why a customer would need this for a friction unit.

The cheapest one is $1.50/4 minutes halfway across town. Of course we are better in many ways. I try all car washes in town on a regular basis.
