    CryptoPay Credit Card Acceptance System

Vending Machine Use of Cryptopay I talked to Dave @ Cryptopay about a week ago concerning its use in the ShurVend vending machines. It is not compatible with the MDB software in our vendors yet, but it may happen sometime soon. I sure hope so. In the meantime we still have the Edge ePort...

V-Blog #42-- Bill Validators in Bay Meters Reduce Vending Sales

mj, Those of you in the northern tier of states where it does get very cold in the winter do have a good reason to put your vendor inside rather than in the vacuum area. There are still 6 months or more of warmer weather where a vendor in the vacumm area would make sense. Whether the bill...

V-Blog #42-- Bill Validators in Bay Meters Reduce Vending Sales

Validators in Bay Meters Decreases Vending Sales During the recent WCA show in San Diego, I was cruising the floor talking to attendees and came across a man from Texas that I have visited with in my ShurVend booth for a couple of years. He has been studying the buying a new modern vendor...

    Patrick H. Crowe

[\QUOTE]I mean after all- he was educated at Harvard..... :) I feel kind kind of like Paul above, but this is one of my pet peeves; Going to college anywhere and getting educated are not the same thing. I got my engineering degree from UCLA ('57) when it was jokingly called "the little red...

    WCA Show in San Diego

WCA Report Soapy did a good job of reporting what we did at the WCA show this past week and I have to agree that the Midway event was terrific. The award to JJ on Tuesday night was well deserved. If the preliminary attendance numbers are confirmed, then the WCA show has turned the corner in...

    Intermittent no-vend

Wax, I talked with the customer service people at the manufacturer to get some more ideas. The low voltage power supply you get occasionally could cause the sensors to get low voltage also and not work. Since you posted that it happened when no equipment was running, that is probably not the...

    Intermittent no-vend

Wax, I talked to the factory this AM and got some ideas on your problem, so you need to watch very closely for clues to what is happening. #1---Low voltage to the vendor. If a pump starts up or you get low voltage to your vendor at the precise moment the vend is needed, it might act that way...

    Intermittent no-vend

Wax, Don't get all wound up yet!! If it is a broken wire it will just be on that tray. Everytime you service that tray by pulling it out and pushing it back in, a broken wire may or may not make good contact again. Yours is a refurb so that tray has been pulled and pushed 100s of times...

    Intermittent no-vend

Wax, These intermittent problems are a pain to solve. Let me think about it and ask some smart people some questions at the factory. Uncle Sam

Watch the Security on Older Vendors !!

This is posted mainly for our older customers that have machines that were purchased from 1999-2003. In the past few weeks we have inspected and serviced vendors with broken locking devices or received calls from customers that have had their vendors vandalized and/or had money stolen because...

    WCA Show in October

ShurVend skipped last year’s show in Las Vegas and reluctantly have decided to skip this year’s show in San Diego also. Exhibiting this year became a business decision where the costs became too high for the number contacts made at the booth. There are many other avenues for the advertising...

The Vending Formula--- Location + Security + Visibility + Time + Convenience = High S

Too many words to fit in the title box on this post. Title should read: The Vending Formula--- Location + Security + Visibility + Time + Convenience = High Sales Volume Uncle Sam: o

The Vending Formula--- Location + Security + Visibility + Time + Convenience = High S

“S”—The Security of the vendor from theft and vandalism is equally as critical as Location so that the wash operator has “Peace of Mind” that his/her vending sales and profits are not stolen from the machine. The security cage design has improved over the years to a very secure system, so...

The Vending Formula--- Location + Security + Visibility + Time + Convenience = High S

My second post in the ShurVend Users Group on Sep 3, 2007 of this Forum spelled out my “T L C” (Time, Location, Convenience) theory of high volume vending sales at a wash site. The Library on this forum has that article on the following link: http://autocareforum.com/vending.html...
