    MARS introduces $1 & $5 bill recycler

MEP, I certainly understand the Bill Breaker feeling, but the Mars design people don't ask for input from many of us out here in the real world. I would think giving back 2-$5 bills would solve the $10 dollar bill problem. I thank the Mars people for at least responding to the need for...

    MARS introduces $1 & $5 bill recycler

Kirb, We don't have any pricing on the 2700 with the recycler yet, but I will try to find out. The geometry of the bezel on the new 2700 might cause a problem with the alignment of the validator with the bill slot on the ShurVend mask, but that can be solved relatively easily. We'll just have...

Reliability of High Capacity Bill Stackers

Sequoia, We used the 1000 bill stacker for a number of years in a changer. Works fine and you won't need to worry about the bill validator shutting down over a weekend if you can not get to the site. Uncle Sam:)

V-Blog #23--- Car Wash Merchandising with the ShurVend Vending Machines

    4. Lastly the new software in the ShurVend machine provides the owner a chance to program the vendor for an option called the ?Prize?. This is a program that the operator can set from 1-9999 to vend the Prize selection to the customer and then return the money to the customer. Let?s say the...

V-Blog #23--- Car Wash Merchandising with the ShurVend Vending Machines

We hear from customers from time to time about the wash site promotions they run to increase their wash sales volume using their 24/7 ShurVend machine. We pass these ideas along to you for your consideration on your wash site(s). 1. A customer in Pennsylvania has 2 identical washes in the...

    V-Blog #22--Questions to Ask When Evaluating a Glass-Front vendor

These questions were posted on another thread, but, I thought they were so good, I made a Blog of them. The right questions---- 1. “I have “xxx” drop shelf vendors at my wash; will your glassfront computer-controlled vendor increase my monthly vending sales?” The answer is an unqualified...

Input To Design/Build a Smaller Glass-Front Vendor Wanted

Dirt, I think you underestimate the number of vending products that will sell at wash sites, but that is your business. Every article written about vending sales over the years has always concluded that the more selections available to wash customers, the higher the sales volume. I have never...

    ShurVend ICA Show Report

ShurVend exhibited at the recent Car Care World Expo in Las Vegas with some serious concerns about the economy and how it would affect attitude of an expected smaller number of attendees at the show. We were pleasantly surprised with good traffic and the seriousness of the operators who dropped...

Input To Design/Build a Smaller Glass-Front Vendor Wanted

We asked for your input a few years ago when we first started thinking about building a small, in-the-wall vendor and received many good thoughts and good ideas. This input was used to design and build the vendors that we now offer. Once again we come to ask for your input. Our vendor...

    Two Passes for the Expo

I had given all mine away to customers, but, as can always happen, 2 people had to cancel at the last moment. SOOOOOOOOOOO, any of you who are able to get to the show at the last minute, email me and we'll see if we can get the paperwork done to get the passes held at "Will Call" in Las Vegas...

Unfortunate changes to the ICA expo

I'm with Jimmy! As an exhibitor it seems the show management is always piggybacking some session or free food into the time allotted for Expo hours. It usually just kills traffic on the floor. Organize these sessions just like all the educational or business sessions. For those that don't do...

    Car Care World Expo Update

The Car Care World Expo will begin in a little more than 3 weeks and it appears that the attendance will be down from previous years. We received an email update on registrations a few days ago from Eric Wulf, CEO of the ICA, which indicates a substantial drop from the attendance in Orlando...
