    RO membrane filter

Oh, the RO production pump. Typically Goulds or Flint & Walling multistage on systems in my area. Yeah, our SFR repressurization pumps deliver 400 psi, too. It’s just better, IMHO.

    RO membrane filter

The Pentair 5600 valve will flow 20 GPM (valve only) with 15psi pressure drop...more than enough for feeding your RO machine unless you have a monster RO. Not sure what you mean about that booster pump. The SXT timer is $15 more than the basic electromechanical 12 day timer...it's a bit...

    RO membrane filter

mjwalsh, Why reinvent the wheel? Simple inlet-outlet filter systems offer effective treatment without electricity and little or no wasted water. However, these systems do not incorporate an automatic back wash cycle which is designed to redistribute the media, dispose of media fines and...

    RO membrane filter

mjwalsh, A typical 1 cu ft carbon tank is 9" x 48" ...same as a 1 cu ft water softener. The least expensive tank would be equipped with a manual back flushing valve for monthly "fluffing" of the AGC. I favor Structural (Pentair) or Clack mineral tanks. They are fabricated from high density...

    I need a manual

Do you have the remote controller? It's been many many years for me but TMs do have resettable coin counters...easily accessed with the remote.

Coleman Hanna going the way of the dodo? Other options?

That machine was originally designed/built by the previous HydroSpray ownership's team. They called it The Cobra. We showed it at the ICA show in 2003 or 2004, IIRC. I sold and installed a few before I retired in 2005. I believe the design was sold to Sonny's, then it went to Oasis for a short...

    Shampoo spot removers, brands.

OurTown, Yes, I used it in my Coleman 94050 Hot Foam Carpet Cleaner/Vac. It worked just as good as their product...and way cheaper!

    Help wiring a LP panel

I know why many manufacturers use multiple transformers…inventory management. But 75VA per bay is pushing the limits for a modern car wash with digital display timers, credit card and bill acceptors, and programmable logic controllers. I also know that most do a good job of ensuring their...

    Help wiring a LP panel

Then, run a 18ga multi-conductor cable from the CP panel to your Air Logic. Connect your common to the white wire on the Air Logic terminal strip...it's usually on the right side. I use 1/4" LLDPE tubing out to the bays. Works great for foam brushes and foam guns. Air Logic provides metered...

    Cryptopay Cryptotap Concerns

5 bays installed approx 1 year ago 6 bays installed 1 month ago Both locations have meter boxes near the end of the bay wall...but they still get wet. No issues, so far. Both use count-up with LED6 displaying accumulating $$$. Both operators have not lodged any complaints with me...however, I...

    Help wiring a LP panel

Noob... As 2Biz stated...Do yourself a favor and phase the transformers. You’ll thank us if you ever have to do any troubleshooting. Isolation relays add needless cost and complexity to your systems. Mep001 Those slim relays look just like Phoenix Contact’s. Want a nightmare? I’ve replaced too...

    Chlorine-resistant RO membranes

    Chlorine-resistant RO membranes

Let’s say… 4x40 membrane costs $250 a carbon filter with auto backwash costs $1000 1-1/2 cuft of replacement AGC costs $150 Then, let’s say a chlorine fed membrane lives 2 years whereas a AGC filtered membrane will live 5 years. And, 1-1/2 cuft of AGC lasts about 5 years. In 10 years…...

    Help wiring a LP panel

I've installed a number of Air Logic systems and 2Biz is correct...all solenoids share a "common". Also, Carolina Pride provides individual transformers for each bay. Do not assume that they are phased.

    Fresh n vac

Coleman Fresh n Vac uses a mercury relay (inside the cabinet). Unusual for a mercury relay to stick ON. The 1034R timer might be the culprit... The Blue/Black wire on the larger 10-wire plug is the 24Vac timed output. Pull the 10-wire plug from the timer...Vac should quit running. Plug it back...
