    Triple foam boom

The design of the wall bracket makes them return quite well. I never had any issues.

Dispense two different functions from same foamy coil hose?

2Biz dispenses his PS through the TF gun and seems to be pleased with the results. There are TF hoses for all three colors at once. I don't think there is any law that all three have to be utilized.

    Masks

The virus is primarily carried in respiratory droplets, which are impeded by the mask. It's not perfect, but like with a seat belt, your chances are better. When you spout "facts" with only the part of the info that props up your argument, you are no better than the bulk of the media.

What about just plugging the two nozzles closest to the door?

    Undercarriage overspray

I would like to see a picture of the whole floor setup. If it's just a straight pipe with nozzles, you could just shim it at the hold down points and angle the spray into the bay. If that's not an option, adjust the turnoff so that it shuts off while it's still under the back of the car. If you...

Looking for IBA bug applicator ideas

I think Greg was just meaning he would use the UC output on the PLC to turn it on. Most everything Greg knows, he learned from me, so I doubt that he would make a mistake... :)

    Help finding Ryko/Mark VII

There is a Mark VII Softwash in Bardstown. 137 W. John Rowan Blvd. I use to own the wash. It was installed new in Jan. 2018. In the two years that I owned it, it was probably the most reliable thing I had ever owned. It replaced a Wesumat Softwash, which was probably the worst thing I ever owned.

Best Salt Brand for Water Softener

Can you not repair it? I've worked on a couple of mine. They are pretty simple. Who's going to know that you put a kit in it?

    GPM in self serve

I actually haven't had one in 30 years, but back in the day, I could get really "intelligent".

Actually you should wait until later in the day to post. Everyone seems to get smarter after a couple of beers.

    Presoak question

I would just change the name, Pre-soak/Salt remover. Or, if you have a bug remover selection, change it to bug & salt remover. That may push people to use those lesser used functions. Don't change any chemistry at all. You won't be misrepresenting anything, since either will remove salt.

    Improvement or gimmick?

I disagree. I'm guessing the hub is not 90 degrees to whatever holds the media, which would cause the side to side action of the brush media. The distance between the gantry and the end of the brush obviously changes as the assembly rotates. I like it. Whether it is better or not, who's to say...

Ideal equipment room length and width.

I had one that was about 20' x 33'. I had a 7' x 10' office, a toilet room about 3' x 5', a loft around about 60% of the room, 7 bays of SS equipment, and 3 auto bays. I had things thought out when building the place and wouldn't let the equipment installers deviate from my plan unless that had...

    'm getting to hate Starbucks

I did once. He was bucket washing his cruiser on a busy day, the wash was only 3 bay, and I had "No bucket washing at any time" signs in each bay. To add insult to injury, I gave them tokens for free, so he wasn't even paying! It pissed him off, but I guess he got over it, or just abused someone...

Looking to buy my first wash

Petit is based out of Norton, about the same distance away as Hydrospray. Both are mfrs. which may or may not mean hands on service and support. I'm just spitballing here, but if I bought a used machine, I would want a distributor for that brand available. HydroSpray is a pretty small player...
