    Older WeepMizer acting up

This might be helpful. http://www.dixmor.com/TIMER%20PDF/WEEP_TROUBLESHOOTING.pdf Additionally, one can install multiple sensors...the WeepMiser will react with the coldest reading.

    foam brush solenoid

Thanks Jack. This system uses "tri-foam" guns with 3040 spray tips. This install does not include tri-foam. The presoak panel's air solenoids provide the air-assist for the tire cleaner, bug/mag, and blow-out during cold weather. The foam brush's air solenoids are also used for FB blow-out...

    foam brush solenoid

I prefer to deliver PS, tire cleaner, and bug/mag cleaner thru a separate foam gun. Delivery of product to the customer is much faster and the show is terrific. I use AirLogic low pressure panels for all foam products. Zero check valves required...I hate check valves in the roof trough/duct...

    Frozen Texas Washes

Good Lord! I’m so sorry to see and hear of my fellow washers suffer so much damage and misery. And, sorry to say you guys are just beginning to feel the pain. Ive been involved in fixing frozen car washes and it ain’t pretty. One site had freeze related issues for well over 1 year. Another...

    Help replacing/mounting meters

Weld stainless steel angle around the perimeter of each box (kinda like a picture frame). Then, use 4 lengths of 3/8” – 1/4" all-thread, washers, and nuts to “pinch” the boxes together. In this pic, the walls were only one course thick...therefore, the back-to-back boxes could not be fully...

    Voltage Spike Snub Experience?

My experience is similar to Paul's, at one particular installation... a relatively rural site with occasional electrical anomalies from the REA. (I think they had problems keeping their squirrels alive?) :ROFLMAO: IIRC, installing IDX's ST300 snubber terminal blocks in the coin boxes...

Cat 310 - Water in the Oil

Steve, Cat oil seal p/n is 43228. However, they are accessed thru the crankcase which means you have to remove the head, plungers, and connecting rods...that means you also have to disassemble the entire back end of the pump to replace them. So, you'll want...at minimum: (2) 43343 bearing cover...

1 of 5 bays continues to freeze due to jammed check valve

Could it be because your pre-soak is no longer plumbed into the hp hoses? ;)

Have you ever ran away business

I took this picture on December 10, 2014 $3.00/3 minutes Had to buy a bigger truck to haul all those extra quarters to the bank!

    Push-in tubing fittings

I believe SMC and PISCO are equals. Probably have at least 4-5,000 in use...every installation since 1990. John Guest are good but SMC & PISCO have better variety. I especially like the elbows and wyes...they rotate! Double Double & Triple Double manifolds work great for foam brush and foam...

    HP Soap not drawing

OK...I'm running out of ideas. Is the wax delivery affected, too? Or just soap? Looking at the Ginsan flow diagram the only other water feed is the SFR solenoid. Maybe it's not fully closing?

    HP Soap not drawing

Doesn't the Ultra VFD system feature pressurized cold water rinse? Could it be that the cold water solenoid for the problem bay is not fully closing?

Pics of Cryptopay/Credit Swiper box setup

Forgot to mention... Add a few inches of plate or a plastic shield below the reader to prevent customers from grinding their credit cards into the brick wall. This is what my original installation looked like...notice the skid marks on the instruction sign!;)

Pics of Cryptopay/Credit Swiper box setup

Here's how I added card readers BC. (Before CryptoPay) Mounted the "OneCard" readers to 1/4" thick aluminum plates. Drilled through the side of the coinbox and met the wiring hole drilled into the brick. Secured the plate with plastic anchors and 2" long stainless square-drive screws. I figured...

    HP Soap not drawing

Measure the soap flow from a working bay’s solenoid and the problem bay. Same? It’s not unusual for 310s & 5CPs to require throttling the water supply...especially if they are plumbed with 3/4”. I’ve plumbed gravity feed pumps with 1/2” inlet hose & fittings for 30some years with no noticeable...

    LED lighting

Mac, Here's my post from 4 years ago... The lamps are still shining brightly...with zero failures. The installation involved rewiring the building's lighting circuits. Your installation will likely require less planning, hand-wringing, and elaborate controls. :geek: I like the idea of...
