What to do, what to do....

Agree with the above post, with the current supply chain issues. It's a matter of time before those old components will become obsolete.

    Best Change Machine

RNS is the way to go. One of the units we purchased was an RL if I recall and the controllers run as a master and slave so it defeats the purpose of having dual validators and hoppers. If the master went down so did the slave.

    Damaged Convertible Top

We had an incident like that with a customers 12 year old vehicle and denied the claim due to the age. Our disclaimer shows vehicles over 8 years old not covered. Life of an automatic

We start looking at repair costs at the 7-8 year mark. By this time the wash is up there in washes plus new equipment helps bring in new customers. People always want to try something new. Biggest issue I see is people waiting too long to replace equipment.

Put a fuse in line with incoming power to the timer. You have a short somewhere, the fuse will save the timer when this happens.

New sign at road and logo

I agree with Waxman. We have a new location with a sign that looks beautiful at night but during the day it gets lost in the sky. I have sent people over to try the wash and will get phone calls 9/10 times stating that they are lost because they are looking for the sign. What is obvious to us...

    Problems with wash world hoses

Going off of L4000 experience. 2 things caused that, the hose was too long or you washed a very small car and the trolley came across to tight not allowing the boom to swing across and the 2 pipes crossed each other causing the kink. If I remember correctly, the bridge had to get atleast 4 or 5...

    Air dryers

Spend another $500 and get a name brand unit and it will run forever. Have several units over 7 years old and don't remember the last time we replaced a flo jet or air actuated valve. I used to believe that for the price of a flo jet it wasn't worth the investment. But now I don't have to worry...
