    Coins not dropping into vault.

Happens to us quite often. Use an old hp hose and poke at the tube from the vault side up gently and the quarters will come loose. Don't poke at it too hard or you will make the jam worse. The crimp fitting does a good job

    Mat Cleaner

For you guys that have Exterior Express washes. Are you using Mat Cleaners such as Rhino, and if so is it worth the extra expense to offer free mat cleaning? Any other brand recommendations would be appreciated. thanks

    " The Prospector" Product Review

We purchased enough for 3 of our locations and never followed up with our attendants to see if they liked them or not. One thing I do remember was that they fit snug in I believe IVS vacs. They fit perfect in JE Adams.

    light show

Hopefully the amount of time the lights were on was just for the video, IMO it was a bit much. I was more intrigued with the flash dry in conjunction with stand alone dryer.

Which would you do, if anything ? Need some recommendations

I would never consider a monthly plan on a IBA unless maybe, you are capping it at 4 washes a month. Can't wash enough cars a day to justify it if it takes off. A tunnel can wash twice as many cars in a couple hours as you can all day in your In bay, that is why it works for them.

    Convert self serve to automatic

Most likely your bay is 26' long. so don't forget about the additional $45-$50,000 you will need to extend the length of the bay, electrical and plumbing. The last 6 bay site we added a IBA to, we had to pay an additional $10,000 to increase the electrical service. So there is a lot more to it...

    Bay panels for IBA

You can cut them to size. We use a grinder with a thin metal cutting blade. To save money, use a j trim on top and bottom if he has some of those left over as well.

    Site revamp ROI

The least we have seen is a 35% increase. Many of the locations increased tremendously. We are to the point that once paint begins to fade on columns and exterior walls we repaint. Its amazing what a new coat of paint will do. As a side note: we noticed a new restaurant by our office and...

GINSAN RO Canister End Caps Leak

Use a couple turns of teflon tape then add Rector Seal Tru Blue. If using only teflon tape, you tend to overtighten and with time it will break and leak. I use True Blue on all brass to plastic or on high pressure functions

    Flowjet G57...Viton or Santoprene?

Some of the cheaper tri foams are a soap based formula, not saying that his are. Years ago we received a sample from a salesman and could not get it to rinse worth a darn on our autos. When we researched the ingredients we realized why and switched back to our old supplier.

    Hiring a Person

We use Indeed, its ok but you have to constantly filter through the resumes and reject the ones that don't match in order to stop receiving more that are similar.

    Hi PH-what to use

Sadly, without soft water, it's going to be hard for you to make any money. And any cars you are washing will be unlikely to return. You need to bite the bullet and buy the softeners quickly

    Drilling 1/2" hole through stainless

It's all about the speed, you want the drill set to a slow speed to keep whatever bit you are using from heating up. I use step bits more than anything but have used a hole saw a time or 2

How to get rid of bad online reviews

We just stopped looking at them, too much hassle. When you have idiots complaining about being charged $10 on their credit card instead of the $3.00 they used it gets old. Even though there is a sign in front of their face in every bay stating cards will be preauthorized for $10
