Ted, I don't know much about Mark VII equipment, but I would suppose there is a relay that pulls in to send voltage to the Stop Light, which may be sticking at times allowing the light to stay lit.

Ditto. Have had the same thing happen a couple of times with a ring, pumped the water off the pit and it was laying on top of the mud.

gearhead, I did the exact same thing after having some of my metal grates stole. They are sturdy as hell and actually look pretty good. Like you said, cost around $50 a bay and at that price, I can afford to replace them as needed.

What is the cost of the Harshguard doors?

Everybody has to do what works best for them, in my case, I would much rather replace a 20-25 dollar mercury switch every once in awhile, than replace a pressure pad @ $140 a pop. I've never used a pad before, but have heard alot of bad stories about them.

Maybe I need to add a area of the Forum for Speciality and others that have gone BK, so people can find parts etc from each other. Bill, that would be a great idea.
