I use 2 Voyager units that were Pre HTP designation. One per location. Basically the same unit. 199K BTU with 80 gallon tanks. It will raise the water temp 5 degrees per minute. I run two IBAs and a 4 SS bay wash with them and always have hot water. They even have a built in heat exchanger that...
I just use a 6 inch PVC pipe and then run it into a large electrical box ofr each bay. We use heated roof cable in the pipe and it has kept us working for 25 years but we only get down to - 30 F so it may not work in all situations.
History always shows that the Vegas shows have more attendance than anywhere else. The current problem with the show is they do nothing for the SS operator since very few are being built and it is all conveyor oriented now. I will still go to the Vegas show just to network with some fellow...
I would not go with a single credit card vendor type machine. Legally you can only dispense tokens with them. I already tried that. I would look into Wash Gear for each bay. I have a location with wash gear and it does double the amount in credit cards as my other locations using other type of...
They do make small box radiant heaters that heat objects and not the air. You could place them away from things that you do not want to get too hot. Radiant tube heaters are best but if you have low clearance they might not work.
I have 1 old ryko monarch that uses drive tires to move the trolley back and forth. Years ago I took some aluminum diamond plate and had it cut to the width of the path the tires travel on. I bolted it to the rail path so the tires had something to grip to. It has worked for over 20 years and...
I guess I am still in the minority and I use Secure coin acceptor. Rarely have a jamb and the whole coin path hinges open it you ever do get a jamb. Plus they make them in short or long drop. Accept quarters and dollar coin and you can program 3 additional coins.
I had a similar thing happen a 4 years ago. I had replacement coverage with my insurance. I turned it over to them to deal with the other insurance company. the part of recovering lost income was much harder. YOu had to submit sales figures for the past couple of years and then average it out. I...
I would recommend for this type of bearing going to marine grade all stainless steel bearing. They are probably twice as much but last much much longer than standard bearings in this environment.
Monster tape make makes a similar product that you can get at most plumbing suppliers. It is a bit heavier and packed in larger rolls. I keep it in my riggs for overlanding.
You need to find out water hardness in your area first before you can size the tanks and also which function will be using soft water in both the auto and SS sides. I would call a local company first and get them to give you quote then you can look at national suppliers.
