    Spot Free Hookup

$2K-ish in pumps/motors, probably $500-$750 in additional parts, and the time($$) to get it functional(if you can) and you'll still have an obsolete machine with limited factory support.

    Spot Free Hookup

I wouldn't. Those hoses look horrible. I would not have any confidence in the pump/motors having much, if any, life left in them. If it's been stored outside the wiring is probably crap. You're looking into putting a bunch of money into a system that's been obsolete for about 2 decades.

Best pressure reducing valve for the wash? My watts are crap.

My thoughts exactly. Most plumbing codes require you to have 80PSI or less and that is what manufacturers build to. I've actually seen video of softener heads exploding from 120PSI. You may want to check local codes.

    Bad News for us all!

Those of us that have been around long enough remember the boom times in the self serve sector of the business when Autos started being paired with self serves in the mid to late 90s. Washes being built anyplace with an open piece of dirt(and some without), many times on top of other washes...

    Nayax to Ginsan count-down

You cannot tie the coin input of two timers together. The coin input is an internal voltage on the timer and hooking two together will lead to the bay running on or not starting at all. You need to ditch the Paraplate all together. The proper solution is to get rid of those antiquated...

    Weep System Cuasing Overflow

That's exactly what it is. One, or more, of the check valves is bad or has crap in it holding it open. Kick the weep on and shut the ball valves off under the tank one at a time to figure out which one(s)

    Exit plans…?!

I could provide a pretty long list of people who didn't make a clean break and a few years later were back to having to run the wash. Of course, the wash was now in considerably worse shape than when they "sold" it.

    Hamilton DRS to Mark Conversion

We sell a ton of bill acceptors on doors and vacuums. The early days of the Talos was a nightmare, to say the least. I lost count of how many we had to swap out for customers and send to CPI for warranty. I've been involved in enough product launches in my career to know they seldom if ever go...

Rinse normal, soap and wax selection causes loss of pressure

    New touchless automatic Chinese wash

It's pretty much been their entire R&D plan for the last 2+ decades.

Rinse normal, soap and wax selection causes loss of pressure

That is a bit before my time but, I believe, the plumbing on those units was the the same. You should have individual ball valves and check valves for each bay under the rinse tank. They should all be fed by the same manifold "box". I would suspect that those ball/check valve assemblies are not...

    Function wire color code

Your wiring is going to vary depending on who manufactured the doors and equipment. Hydrospray frequently used other manufacturers for their doors.

First time buyer--- need help estimating gross revenue.

Exactly this. I've seen far too many people get burned by buying washes without doing proper due diligence. IF you can verify some sort of numbers you also need to do a complete, deep inspection of everything on site. Depending on the age of the site you could very likely be looking at some huge...

    Spot Free Hookup

That is the bypass. You will need to plumb that back into the storage tank for spot free water.

    Motor problem?

Sounds like older stuff. Easiest thing would be to swap out the rotary switch.

Seeking Advice on Valuation for Two Car Washes

Someone can ask for whatever they want when selling but 10X the gross without verifiable numbers!?!? Nope, unless the dirt is worth that but then you have dirt with a business on it that is not really best use of the land.
