Thomas, if you have a weep system, it would be much easier to rig up a pump and use the weep system to winterize your hp hoses. You will use at lot less wf. I did 4 bays tonight and used about 1.5 gallons.

Randy, I've repaired them several times. Seems to hold up ok for me. I take them out of service as soon as they start to drip. Usually the nylon backup washer is gone. I also force some grease in the bearing during the rebuild.

Shouldn't be hard to test the system/solenoids manually. Assuming the solenoids are 24v, there should be a transformer in the panel. Find the "Positive" side of the transformer and jump it to the "Positive" side of each solenoid. Follow the color coding of the wiring and test with a volt meter...
