As has been said, the adjuster works for the insurance company not you. I've had the distinct displeasure of having to speak to several over the years. They have limited to zero knowledge of mechanical equipment in general and car washes in particular. The good ones will defer to the...
If your current heaters have been accomplishing what you want but just have stopped working, replace them with the same size you currently have. No need to re-invent the wheel. I've seen more than a few go overboard with heaters and have to increase the size of transformer and/or generate so...
It should. We build our doors standard with 2-10W heaters, usually mounted vertically. Sometimes we or the customer may add an additional 10 or 20. If you already have heaters, and they accomplish what you want, just replace like with like.
This thread was posted Sunday afternoon and we've somehow morphed into a 3 day debate over a $9 part.
slash, if you still need them give me a call with a credit card and I'll get them on the way to you. Delete the thread and I'll give you a discount.
That may be your opinion but there is ohm's law which says do not use more than a 4 amp fuse/breaker. 100/24=4.17
We have the breakers in stock. The part number is 1808900 and they list for $9.27
One thing to realize is that Hydrospyray equipment most likely is going to be an issue. The PLC controls not just the automatic but all the self serves as well. I have helped a few customers over the last year with that system. They could not get help from the manufacturer so reached out to me...
Why was there "smoke" coming out from under the dome when the person was vacuuming the white car? If it's just dust, you have a filter issue. Too much dust in a motor will cause a fire just like in the video.
Do. Not. Do. This.
Here's a simple analogy: A landlord offers you 6 months free rent on a house, but you have to remodel the house. He gets to pick every aspect of the redesign but you get to pay and do the work. A year later you've really made the place nice, the property value is the highest...
For the equipment, get at least one complete inspection of all equipment by a good technician. I've seen more than a few buyers get burned because the financials "looked good" but they were buying a site with equipment at the end of it's useful life.
Ohm's law says not to exceed 4 amp for the fuse.
That setup really shouldn't pull much over an amp in and of itself and usually less. The majority of the draw will come from what that board is turning on(solenoids, contactors, logic controls, idiot lights, etc). If you have a bill acceptor...
