    What questions would you ask?

3 years federal tax returns. Minimum requirement. Everything else you listed can be cooked.

    CPI/Mars validator price increase

We've seen almost 500% increase in stainless prices in the last 24 months. Many solenoids have more than doubled, and in some cases tripled, in cost in that time period. Hoses, tubing, nuts, bolts, etc have all gone up dramatically. We've been able to second, third, and fourth source a lot of...

    Have an old hydrospray system

Measure across the two wires going to the coil. When you measure from hot to ground on the secondary side of a transformer you very well could be getting false readings.

    In need of wiring diagram

    1) Fire the electrician. If he's going to charge you to contact a manufacturer for a free wiring diagram because he can't troubleshoot a tripping overload he's both a crook and a moron. 2) MEP is correct. You most likely have an overload going bad or a motor drawing too many amps. MEP is also...

    Polarized Water

Yup. You either remove the hardness or you don't. No matter what magnetism or ionization you use the minute that water hits the water heater it gets cooked out prematurely causing failure on the water heater. It's even quicker with the on demand ones. It kills the heat exchanger and because the...

    in the News

I'm 6'2" and I either have to hang way out the window of my 2020 Ram Big Horn or climb out. Love the truck but it can be a pain on lower kiosks

    Polarized Water

I have a buddy who LOVES them. He does a pretty good business replacing water heaters on houses that put those in on hard water instead of a softener.

Shocked! My insurance offer on F4 tornado

Do not settle without talking to an attorney, a private adjuster, and getting an official quote from a manufacturer's representative. I have had more than one less-than-pleasurable conversation with an "expert" sent by an insurance company. My favorite was the clown who said "It's really nothing...

Crypto Tap on Self Serve bays

And every one of those retailers still take mag stripe cards. It's because of demographics. They know that the older the customer is the less likely they are to use tap or NFC payment methods. It's probably going to be at least 4-5 years before the real phase out of mag stripes takes place.

Crypto Tap on Self Serve bays

No they haven't. I was integral in the deployment and maintenance of our credit card solution. One of the reasons we decided not to come out with a second generation was the industry announced in late 2013/early 2014 that magnetic strip cards would stop being issued in 2015. It would have meant...

Adding Nayax to Vacs, count which way?

The only thing that would prevent you from running count up is if you're not using a Dixmor timer. The bill acceptor and Nayax hook to different inputs on the Dixmor. Did you really expect someone you didn't buy a product from to help you set up that product? We don't get into the programming...

Novice here... Hydrominder 511 / Tips

Do yourself a favor and ditch those and get some fresh stuff. Even if you are able to get any kind of performance out of them(I doubt it) you're going to have to readjust your tips in the near future when you have to get something from a new supplier. In the interim you're wasting time fighting...

    Cryptopay Reader to Vending Machine

What does the vending machine maker say? Is there a way for you to enable a card reader in it's programming? Just because a machine has the MDB doesn't mean it's just a matter of plug and play. They may not have the ability to add a card reader, of any kind, enabled in their system.

    Pump Stand Question

All of the functions you are looking to add would be separate pieces of equipment from that equipment. I would recommend putting a larger terminal strip for each bay in the pump stand to connect the new functions to, your going to have to have more conductors to the bay, and you may have to...

    Veterans

I remember the 4th of July parade the summer after Desert Storm. President Bush was actually in attendance here in Grand Rapids. It was a cool event but what will always stick with me is a group of Vietnam Vets marching in the parade and they got the loudest cheers of anyone. My mother bawled...

Is a 4 bay SS new build still viable?

The reality is somewhere in between. If it's a new build, theoretically, you will have less mechanical work on a day to day basis for the first year or so. There is a lot of moving parts even on a 4 bay self serve. I usually tell people that it will be the easiest 80 hour a week job you'll ever...

    F4 tornado hit our wash

Coach's wash is in Oklahoma if I'm not mistaken and because insurance laws vary from state to state I still recommend he talk to his attorney.

    F4 tornado hit our wash

Talk to your lawyer. In many states it's within your rights to hire a private adjuster. I have some customers in Florida that got crushed by Ian that are doing that. The adjuster usually gets a percentage(5-10%) of what they get you so it's in their interest to fight for as much as they can.
