I’ve used this product on literally several hundred thousand cars (tunnel) over the years and have never had this problem. It leaves the cars extremely smooth and slippery. Even though the car was new, could there have been some dirt or film in it that was sealed in or coated over?

Totally agree. Class act, great contributor to the forum and awesome looking wash that is clearly maintained at the highest level. There is a time for everyone to walk away.

Gotta love rollovers from the 80’s - no discernible detergents, soaps, foams etc. 😂

If my car wash sales were $690,000 per day, I wouldn’t be interested in trying to sell groceries or anything else! 😆

Maybe the big tunnel chains actually can discourage the Costco Model. Premier wash for $8. Purchase 5 of them in a month and you are at $40. Around me, $45 is a monthly subscription for a top wash and you can get 31 of them a month if you want.

I hear what you are saying about the bigger planters and I agree. Here’s a funny story though - this happened to my wife’s grandfather who used to live in The Bronx. He had flowers that were actually planted in the ground in front of his house dug up and stolen! 😆

That’s rough. It’s just a loss leader to them. They will grind that machine into the ground and make no money off of it. People will not care about quality because who complains about anything free ( people do, but there is not an argument to be made). Plus, there is no incentive to offer...

It sounds like a few of your customers are just unaware of what the current pricing market is for the services. Maybe tell then to check the prices at the dim dirty dungeon! 😂

You mentioned your car wash is the highest priced in your area. How do your detail prices compare to competitors? I know detailing is extremely labor and time intensive and can’t imagine that anyone would take issue with appropriately priced services. The cost of professional plumbers...

Have not seen it at the wash, but I occasionally get a debit card as a gift and they can be pretty finicky at some vendors.
