Agree with MEP. If there is a call for one s/s bay, and that wand goes in the holder with the spot-free still running, you are placing a lot of head pressure on the pump. It should have a regulator.

Does it have a regulator? My multi-stage wears out a regulator about every other year. That is an easy $30 fix. Symptom is less preesure to the bays, and much more water to the by-pass.

I agree, Bill. I did already point that out to him. I was just curious if it was another Ford issue. I have seen many Fords with fiberglass bumpers that the paint is peeling or fading. If it had a small chip in it, and you hit it with 1100 psi, I am thinking it could peel.

I just got in three new pumps. They say "made in China". What a surprise. The KR order taker had told me they were made in Mexico now. But apparently not. I just sent back another two pumps under warranty. That is 10 this year. Maybe they will wake up soon???
