    General question on car count

The "guesstimate" of $3 is more accurate for San Antonio. A lot of washes are still giving around 45 seconds per coin, some are a full minute or even more.

    General question on car count

Must be in San Antonio? Those counts don't mean a lot without knowing what each car spent. does it have bay timers that you can check counts on?

    Cat 310 pump Motor

You could use it with the right pulleys, but that could be a problem. You can only go so small on the motor or the belt won't grip well enough. To use the motor and only change one pulley you'd need a 16" on the pump. You could change the pump (or just the crankcase) to a short stroke model...

    Watery tri colours

It can if you're already running too weak on the mix and your water is really, really hard. It's most likely something else you listed though.

    Medeco Plug lock jammed

Someone tried to drill one of mine recently. They used a tiny bit and attempted to go just into the pins and didn't leave any visible damage, but the key would go in really tight and it wouldn't unlock. I had to drill it. Before that they tried to drill another with a slightly bigger bit, but...

    Voltage on Ginsan Beeper horns

The purple wire is for a mechanical counter. You won't hook that to anything. The "earth ground" doesn't connect to anything inside the timer. It's a waste of time to hook it to anything. It's probably just there because Coleman grounds everything.

    Couple Electroswitch rotary questions

Definitely order the Electroswitch brand. I would bet yours are Shallco which are crap and last about a year before they get too loose. The motor starter wires will be the ones jumpered to several terminals on the same stack. It's the 2x stack that is probably make-before-break, so if the...

    Couple Electroswitch rotary questions

This is true with switches from Kleen-Rite, but not all of them. They buy them on a blanket PO and specify a configuration.

Solid State Timer for Spot Free System

You're right, I thought it was a timer that you set for minutes on and many more minutes off, which is how a lot of cheap systems work. You could use an adjustable on-delay timer through a relay that would give you an output to open the reject solenoid for the countdown.

    Spot Free Pressure

Not true. Pressure affects flow through a fixed restriction. You might be pushing 1.2 GPM through a xx06 tip at 150 PSI, but not with a xx05 tip.

    Cat 310 pump Motor

You might want to stick with the 5 hp since it's single-phase. The RPM will vary from 1700 to 1780 across brands. It's not a problem.

    Cat 310 pump Motor

I get motors from a local supply place. Kleen-Rite sells the motor I use for $1,187 that I get for $360.

https://www.kleen-ritecorp.com/p-14581-procon-104e240f11ba-series-4-bolt-on-pump-240-gph-250-psi.aspx It's preset at 170 but it will run 250. I set mine to 275 and regulate it down to 250 with the bypass going back to the tank. For my service customers I set the pump to 250 and regulate it...

    Sonny’s Services Of Texas

Scotch Plaid would always announce a price increase as far ahead as they could and would send a new price list (and an apology letter) along with the last date you can place an order and get old prices. I understand their costs went up pretty quickly and somewhat unexpectedly, but several times...
