Just Rebuilt a Cat 3535- any tips for next one?

They don't make the Hylomar anymore that used to be recommended. The new stuff that's called Hylomar is just a gasket tack. I used silicone grease when I rebuilt them and never had a problem. I also never had a problem removing the packing spacers. Maybe someone used LocTite on them?

Sounds like a good place. The nearest one to me is 650 miles away. We have lots of Tractor Supply stores, most of which are poorly managed.

Need Help Finding Replacement Century AC Motor

I can't find a L56C frame motor. That might be something proprietary to Century. Any 56C motor with the mount foot should work, but it'll have a wiring box on the side instead of an entry point for the conduit on the rear. I use the Dayton 1K081, it's only 3/4 HP but it'll work as long as you...

    Cat 310 pump Motor

AW stands for anti-wear. It might actually be better than ISO-68. The 68 is the viscosity, so that's the same weight as Cat oil. As long as it's not crazy expensive it should be perfectly fine.

Minimum Volt Amp Transformer for 1 bay with 10 push button

It's enough to protect the transformer. I've recently worked on two washes that both had a solenoid coil fail and cause a dead short. The 5A fuse protected the transformer and timer. One of the washes has a small 2A breaker for the low voltage which tripped before the fuse blew. The breakers...

Minimum Volt Amp Transformer for 1 bay with 10 push button

I would bet it just failed, could have been from the tire cleaner. An inline fuse isn't a bad idea, 1 amp fuse if you can find some. I just worked on a wash where the soap solenoid fell out of the coil which burned up, the fuse on the transformer was 5 amp, idiot attendant turned the bay back...

I mount them with zip ties that have a mounting ring on the head and hang the horn on one of the studs for the coin acceptor, with the horn facing the coin slot.

Minimum Volt Amp Transformer for 1 bay with 10 push button

The 40va will probably work, but it probably has a small fusible link inside that might blow. I don't believe you will harm anything but the transformer by trying it. FWIW I have several times run a pair of wires off the next bay's transformer to another one while I waited on a new unit.

    Vacuums

IIRC Doyle changed their regular vacs so they hold a 5 gallon pail for the debris. Mine are older IVS with the Hamel tub which works great. Before anyone tries to tell you that 3-motor vacuums are BS, I can tell you with certainty that customers can tell the difference.

    Recognize this RO brand/brine valve?

In the head behind the plate. They're really easy to access, but it can be a pain to get the surfaces clean for new seals. IMO it's more likely that the brine valve in the head is sticking or had debris caught in it.

    Recognize this RO brand/brine valve?

You can get all the parts from softenerparts.com. For the brine tank to overfill, you have at least two problems: The brine tank usually has a valve to prevent it from overfilling. If it has one, it's bad. And: The brine valve (in your second picture above) could be bad and allowing the tank...

    Recognize this RO brand/brine valve?

Definitely a 9500 if it's 1-1/2" which it looks like, if it's 1" it's a 9000. Make sure you get the same range and brine valve. What's wrong with it? I've repaired many of them with new seals. I've only had one that was washed out and had to be replaced.

Timer pulsing 4 times per coin!

That's interesting, I've had them randomly give double or triple pulses, never four.

Timer pulsing 4 times per coin!

That makes me wonder if your vac it up system is the culprit. It's definitely something all the bays have in common.

Timer pulsing 4 times per coin!

I have seen Sensortrons give extra pulses when they're going bad, but not exactly four, and never all bays at once, and never resolved itself.
