    Help wanted

I'm saying that in 13 posts you have created nine new threads and have never posted again in any of them before now. As a general rule of courtesy and forum etiquette, you should go back and answer questions put to you (Those people have asked them to better help you) and post an update of some...

    Blowing Plug out of Gauge.

I'd have to guess that you got some bad gauges. Whenever I've had a gauge get hit with excessive pressure, the needle will no longer return to zero. I've had many leak out the plug, but that happens when the tube inside the gauge leaks, and I've only had that happen over lots of time...

WW 2.0 loss of high pressure

I test the unloader by pinching off the bypass hose. Coleman may use a steel braided hose, but I could do this with the D&S units I used to service because they used a polybraid hose. If you don't feel any water getting through the bypass hose, the problem is with the pump or the belts are...

How long before customers use credit?

I still don't. I got a 1-star review the other day that just said "Doesn't take credit cards".

    Need a PLC

I'm fairly familiar with a ladder relay. The one I've used has 8 inputs and 4 outputs, and there are modules to add more outputs. IMO if you can do it with relays, you might as well do it with relays. The ladder relays will cost you around $300 to get 8 outputs and the software is a very...

How long before customers use credit?

The first wash i ran that I added CC acceptance to took a while to get going. We did no advertizing at all. Assuming you have a Google page, make sure you put on there that you take cards.

Self serve bay will not turn on after timer starts.

You can jump power to the output at the timer with a piece of wire. If you do that and you get power output, your timer is bad.

    Cat 310 pump Motor

Cat oil is hydraulic oil, and doesn't mix with water. Water will emulsify with it. It is not okay to have water in your crankcase with Cat oil or hydraulic oil.

    High leg loss protection

Does anyone have experience with a high-leg or third leg protection? I work with two washes that have a lot of issues with incoming power, mostly dropping a leg. One is 208 Wye and one is 240 Delta. I want something I can use to kill the 24V on loss. The ability to add notification will be...

    Why do you stay here?

I discovered James Butler about a month ago. He has the best stories and seems like a pretty good guy, as long as you don't piss him off. There's a long video where he is cleaning out an employee's truck, and at the end the employee walks up. If I were James I would have fired the guy for his...

Looking for a Zoro coupon code...

I got one in the mail that expired in July. Try putting something in your cart while logged into your account, close it without finalizing, wait 15 minutes and check your email. Sometimes they will send you a code. Check the bottom of the main page for promos. Shop around, because I can...

    Washworld Razor mounting option.

You might want to consult a structural engineer, but I don't feel like block columns will be strong enough by themselves. A reinforced concrete column should be, and would be a lot cheaper than $25,000.

Just Rebuilt a Cat 3535- any tips for next one?

If you use the non-hardening Hylomar, it just makes it a little more difficult to pull the valves out of the pump. The Permatex stuff labeled Hylomar might cause issues. You'll know if you have the right stuff because the gasket tack will dry on your fingertips in a couple minutes. Don't use...

Minimum Volt Amp Transformer for 1 bay with 10 push button

I just bought a couple of the 5 amp at Home Depot. Mouser showed a 6 week lead time on theirs, and they're three times the price. 5 amp will protect the transformer.

    Vacuums

This is all I care about. One of my customers had four identical-looking vacuums in identical installations, same hoses and tools, same start-up price and time per coin. The only difference is that one pair is 2-motor and one pair is 3-motor. He says the 3-motor pair do at least 50% more...
