    GinSan rotary switch doors

Chaz, Both good points about increased revenue from a dollar coin vs just quarters ... as long as the dollar coins are made available via a couple of ChangeMakers .... just in case one is down. There are many in the laundromat industry that are proving customers actually appreciate the gain in...

    City water pressure

When we had to run a larger pipe coming in ... being a corner lot ... we had an option to tie into a newer main with a 4" piping. Once in building it can be downsized. Something to check into. Volume & pressure can be related. In other words, too small of a line coming in can cause...

You might consider a Sherwin Williams water based epoxy ABOVE 8 feet. Up to 8 feet our experience tells us that FRP properly installed tends to works the best.

    !! Kc area thefts !!

Where car washes in a colder climate & overhead doors on both ends are required ... an operator can lock up at night. Overhead doors can be made to be an alarmed 1st step barrier before more extensive damage is done. Sometimes it is just mindless vandalism ... not related to any coins or...

    Wall Cleaner

We usually use Nu Wall from Arcadian but we decided to use Klean-Wall a couple of months ago. This takes a bit longer & some slight brushing helps on our FRP panels ... but it says 100% HF free vs Nu Wall. https://www.kleen-ritecorp.com/p-21991-klean-wall-wall-cleaning-product-5-gallon.aspx...

    Retractable HP and FB hoses?

Roz, http://www.coxreels.com/ez-coil-reels_8_3.html If you can mount them away from overspray .... these have the advantage that have relatively smooth automatic retraction. One of these work well for our metered air that was added as an add'l feature for one our Doyle Vacuums. They have at...

    4 Bay SS in TX

I found that if you have too low of start up in relation to the time ... you will find that some wild people going into a knee-jerk frenzy towards you ... because while they clumsily & slowly put in the add'l money the countdown has already started & boy are they mad. With a higher start up ...

    Please recommend pulleys

APW, Just to give you a heads from our pulley experience. To Specialty Equip's credit they made their Cat 310 with belts version setups with the lightest weight wise double belted pulleys. No heavy hubs! I could be wrong ... but I think that helped with avoiding extra stress on the Cat 310...

    Can multiple Transformers share commons?

I have had the best reliability & ability to troubleshoot with common grounds ... ever since an electrical control engineer got me in that direction. Potentially troublesome ground loops ??? are more likely it seems with floating grounds because instead of 0V it could be slightly off at a...

Check Valves - Which ones do you rely on?

I wonder if Fluid Controls has a 1/4"x1/4" male on both ends??? I am only seeing female on both ends. It seems like I was getting a better price on the stainless steel Swageloks so I stocked up at the time. If i was more organized ... i would have had that invoice right in front of my nose...

    Specialty Equipment vacuums ?

Mac, Do you have any idea how old the vacs are? Originally we had a 1968 Cook Coin Op Vac. that had a single bag. As a project I actually used the housing of a 30# dryer & somewhat copied the Cook design internally with an internal canister ( old top cut off 15 gallon metal barrel) Because I...

    UV protection for display timers

OurTown, Somewhere around 8 years ago we put the Dixmor LED7s on all our vacs ... some vac displays directly in the sun. The way we did it if I remember correctly that we did have Lexan as an additional vandal barrier. I never thought about UV protection needed that we may have also gained...

    Payment methods reality check resource

Good catch. What caught my eye was the 7-11 factor since there are over 66K worldwide & over 8K of them in the USA: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/7-Eleven No reason to "jump to conclusions" as to how its impact will be on availability of cash worldwide & other considerations. It is even...

Check Valves - Which ones do you rely on?

I don't understand. The following picture shows the 1 PSI of the Swagelok? The Fluid Controls states 10 PSI? I did not experience a problem with too high of pressure required to seat? But then it could be the application that I am overlooking. I guess I might not be the fastest learner on...
