    Goldline with sensortron coin acceptors?

There is a specific Slugbuster to use for this. The Sensortron coin pulse is too long.

    No soap in one bay

Might be another check valve issue. Is it just soap, or does it also not draw wax? Did you ever solve this problem? https://www.carwashforum.com/threads/new-owner-need-your-help.21505/

Thickness and angle of bay cement

I finally measured it. It's not entirely accurate because the bays level out almost a foot from the walls and apron, but with a level on a 10' piece of Unistrut I measured 2 1/4" to the floor at the end of the strut. It doesn't seem like much, but the bays are really easy to clean, other than...

    The Death Knell! Population 5300!!

They will also typically not maintain their vacs or the drying area. There's a SS wash a few mines from mine, and customers are always telling me they'd rather pay to use my vacs than use their free ones, and the wash between us doesn't have working vacs.

    Led6 to microcoin

Since you have the yellow and blue wires from the coin acceptor together, briefly jump those to the green wire of the acceptor. If you get coin pulses to the timer, the acceptor is bad. If you don't, the timer is bad.

    CWR car wash equipment questions

The equipment we used to build is very solid. The wiring in your case was done by Rex, who barely knew what he was doing. I recognize his handiwork. As bad as it looks, most of that wiring is pretty solid for being only 22 gauge, but I very often had to go back and redo some because of the...

    CWR car wash equipment questions

That would be me. The wires that melted are the main voltage from the transformer that go through the thermal overload of the motor starter before it gets to the terminal strip. I don't have wiring diagrams, but it's very simple. Left to right on that terminal strip is tire cleaner (orange)...

    18 guage wire connector selection

Last I checked the 3M insulated butt splicers had gotten crazy expensive, like 70¢ each. I switched to Amp, which were still 15¢ last time I ordered. The 3M are made with a rolled metal interior, and sometimes they open up when you crimp. I had gotten used to looking down in the barrel to...
