    Powdered Soap; Long-term test

Here is a picture of my flowmeter setup. From the presoak tank I run through a screen mesh filter then through the adjustable flowmeter and then into the injector with no tip. I adjust the flow with the black knob for chemical concentration.

    FoamBrite Vs NeoGlide wash material

I think the 5 brush machine is designed to wash a little faster than a 3 brush machine. How many wash cycles did you get out of your foam brite material?

    d&s I 5000 uses a lot of spot free

One thing you could do is add a separate incoming line to the sfr tank and use soft water to fill it in emergencies when you need more water. If you only need it for 10 days or so out of a year this might be a solution. In the past I have had to use soft water in place of SFR water and never had...

Touch free not cleaning very good

Correct and MC liquid are both a dilimolene product. You are probably running into some magnesium chloride that needs to be cleaned with a different type of product. Simoniz has better products for this.

    Fluidfilm

It is lanolin from sheeps wool. I use it on my snow plow for rust prevention and so the snow won't stick on the plow blade.

Specialty revolution and the entrance door

The door must have a thermostat somewhere that will tell it when to work based on temps. I would check that first. Try changing the temp setting first with the door open and see if you can get the door to activate. Your thermostat could also be bad.

I tried several starite dealers around me in the past for replacement parts and found I could buy a brand new pump from kleenrite or dultmeier for less than the parts cost.

    boiler recommendation for iba

I have several 80 gallon RHEEM or VoyAGER water heaters that are gas fired using a 190,000 btu boiler. The best I have ever seen them do is about a 6 degree rise in temperature per minute for the 80 gallon tank. They have a digital reading and use outside combustion air brought in with a 4 inch...

    Can a 1 1/4" line supply a 4 bay ss and 1 iba?

It should be able to handle it but a lot depends on the type of automatic you are using and the pump. Yoou can always add a holding tank for the automatic to level out the demand and keep pumps from starving.

    Etowah valley Credit card

I just got a email from Blue Pay on 12/16/13 explaining the following. AS of 11/01/13 all etowah valley subscribers are advised to switch the call in number from the old line to a new toll free number. Many members have been doing this but it was never officially sanctioned by blue pay until...

    MEI Validator Conversion problems

One thing I added to my change machines is a small box heater inside the changer. I set it to keep the inside of the changers warm enough to stop any ice freeze ups. I think it makes everything work better.

Hamilton Gold Line DC Power Supply

I think your electrician should have wired the incoming power to the GFI and then hooked the power wires to the other side to feed ACW. Once power goes through a GFI all other circuits connected to it should be GFI protected. That is what my electrician did on all of mine.

Shutting Down the Car Wash during Cold Weather

It was -4 today and I get a call from a guy who says he put $5 in the SS bay but the wand is frozen inside the wand holder. Shutting Down the Car Wash during Cold Weather

Not a lot you can do in a power outage situation. The first thing I do is try to keep the equipment room from freezing. I do have a small Honda generator than I can bring to the wash to power a small heater. I also keep a filled 80 lb. propane tank that I can hook a radiant type of heater to...
